Tommeh Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Home friendlies can fook off. Nobody wants them. Feeling that Emirates cup however, chance to see Athletico and Aguero....Oh my.
Koke Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Much rather it be Everton. Fellaini and Cahill  Absolutely I would French kiss Timmy, and Fellaini would also get a kiss on the cheek for being such a lovable kid.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Absolutely I would French kiss Timmy, and Fellaini would also get a kiss on the cheek for being such a lovable kid. I definitely want to inappropriately touch Tim Cahill. I love that man. And like most people, I want to stroke Fellaini's hair. Repeatedly. What a hero!

All over it if I'm not on holiday. Don't rub it in It's on my birthday and I can't bloody go even though it's only 20 minutes away
StanSP Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Don't rub it in It's on my birthday and I can't bloody go even though it's only 20 minutes away I've just realised that because it is at the Emirates, it'll cost a bomb . This might be a stumbling block for me...
Corky Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 This. It'll be the same if we play any of the big top flight clubs. I'd far rather we played a decent foreign club. We had a belter with Fiorentina back in 2001. 3-3 draw, Sturridge treble
leicesterseddon Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Fez and I saw them lose 1-0 to Toulouse in October last year at Parc des Princes and it were bloody brilliant even though they lost.MEEEEERDE! yes that was it! i thought it was 0-0 because i had to leave at half-time (i was pretty ill - really seriously HONKING )...right next to the Boulogne stand we were hope we don't get a big four 'glamour tie'...they'll just put out a reserve team, and all the 'i-support-leicester-but-quite-like-liverpool-too' type fans will be out in force

Fez and I were on the half way line looking at the Boulogne stand with envy. It's a small world
Unconquered Mind Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 I heard there was one at Topps Park against Oadby Town?
clazkel Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 My uncle is a Rushden and Diamonds fan and a guy he knows who works on the turnstyles says Leicester are playing them at their place pre-season, as they owe us a favour. Not sure what was meant by that and dont have any ideas of dates as the guy said its being kept quiet at the moment so wouldn't go into detail.
General Smuts Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 Don't rub it in It's on my birthday and I can't bloody go even though it's only 20 minutes away This might be the only ground out of the London lot that is closer to me than you 15 minutes direct train. Tepmted by this game.

DeclanMC Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 GARGH! 1st-2nd August is my birthday weekend. Two teams I like (Atletico and PSG) are playing at the Emirates on the Sunday (my birthday), there's cricket on at Lords that weekend and we could be playing Liverpool on the Saturday, AND MY COUSIN HAS ONLY GONE AND ORGANISED HER WEDDING IN BRISTOL FOR THAT WEEKEND.Fucks sake. I feel sorry for you man, for me Leicester vs Liverpool will be the perfect start to my birthday weekend! Is the athletico and PSG friendly part of a wider cup or on it's own?

Is the athletico and PSG friendly part of a wider cup or on it's own? It's the Emirates Cup featuring Arsenal (Obviously) PSG, Athletico Madrid and Rangers

Father Ted Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Flipping hell!! I hope we don't play one of the big four or else half of the Leicester ends will be packed with supporters of those clubs. Especially Liverpool, can't stand the b*stards!!!!!!
davieG Posted 18 May 2009 Author Posted 18 May 2009 This supposed Liverpool friendly - would it be appropriate to take two 2-1/2 year olds to it? My daughter's married to fervent Liverpudlian so would be a good game to initiate them into the delights of football without unduly influencing their future allegiances.
