Matt Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 SSN/Chris Kamara just said Man Utd are applying to UEFA on compassionate views for Darren Fletcher, they are not slagging the referee off, they accept the decision on the night, but the have wrote a statement and sent it to UEFA on the grounds the Fletcher will miss the biggest game of his life, and hoping UEFA may overturn the decision.

Matt Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 SSN say's he has received some already and Norwegian authorities are investigating. SSN just said he had to be 'smuggled' out of England aswell.

Awful decision yes, but surely they cant overturn it. Would just make a mockery of themselves if they do
Matt Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Awful decision yes, but surely they cant overturn it. Would just make a mockery of themselves if they do Well IMO they should change the rule for good. They can investigate Drogba, Lampard, Terry and co after the game and ban or punish them for the start of next years Champions League competition, yet the can't change a decision that has been made in an instant, under pressure during the night. Pathetic.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Yea I bum the top four because I want an English team to win it. Righto. I hate Arsenal aswell, look in the Arsenal bashing thread to see my views on Arsenal but I would sooner them win it then any foreign team.
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I agree Fletcher must play. He simply must play. Abidal too....

Matt Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Haha loving it, The Chelsea fans on Fifa! I hate playing as Barcelona on Fifa, but I feel when i'm playing a Chelsea fan today the need to pick Barcelona.

Pathetic. I fully agree its a stupid rule and needs changing, but i dont think that they can change it middway (pretty much the end off) a season, it would/could make so much hassle. All the teams knew the rules at the start of the season, its a bit like the F1 farce, you cant change rules once a season has begun (no matter how stupid they are)
Samilktray Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Barcelona the best team? Behave, 1 shot on target all game does not make you the better team. Chelsea were by far and out the better team over both legs for me, Barcelona looked limited and struggled for ideas against a real defence. If any other major team had 1 shot on target over the duration of a game theyd be slated. And as for the 3 penalties that should of been, it was a complete shambles, fair enough Drobga should of finished the chance but you cant overlook 3 maybe 4 cast iron penalties. Lionel Messi proved that hes still behind Cristiano Ronaldo for me in the best player in the world stakes, playing against a well organised defence is something hes not used to as showed over the 2 legs. Sorry Im late on all this but havent been on since it finished. Good day, and I hope Yanited maul Barca.
Finnegan Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 the Pleat one and the fire one are fantastic. Yea I bum the top four because I want an English team to win it. Righto. Aye, that lad in your sig / ava is a real hero of English football.

Over the course of the two legs Barca had 32 shots in total as opposed to Chelseas 15, along with an average of 65% possession. As for the penalty row, Barca should have had one in Spain but didn't, and they also had a player unfairly sent off. It's all swings and roundabouts over the whole tie.

Koke Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I blame this on Michael Ballack. The geezer is fucking jinxed. He has always been no. 2, always been a runner up, but never a winner.
Samilktray Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Spot on mate. Some idiots can't let it go. Idiot? If you werent so far up Barcas arse, I'd say fairs fair, but calling people bumboys of the top 4 when you cant shut up about Barca is a joke Im sorry to be offensive, because I respect you for the most part, but come on now.
