Koke Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 It's just a shame that they carry the name Birmingham. It doesn't do much for the city's world recognition. When people hear the name Manchester they immediately think of Manchester United. Same with Liverpool. When people hear the name Birmingham, either haven't heard of it or they think of that shower of cunts in blue. Birmingham should go back to their original name, Small Heath, and stop embarrassing the city's proud sporting history by being such a shit club.
Darkzzz_ Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 If you're reading this Chris, i'm thinking of you.And i'm naked
Jordan Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Err... Leicester do often yo-yo about and once went into administration. I'm sure the Leicester of the present don't want to be the Leicester of the recent past. Let's grow some thicker skin.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I listened to an interview yesterday on a podcast (Chappers Premier League Podcasts) and he did mention something similar to this on that interview but from the way he said it, it didn't really sound like a dig at us at all to be honest, just a valid point. They have been in charge for 16 years, had 4 managers and only sacked one. May be worth a listen because I didnt feel like he was having a dig at us.
Smudge Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I don't understand the indignation here. All he's said is "We wont go bankrupt like Leeds, Southampton and Leicester whilst we are in charge. That won't happen." How is that a dig? Leicester were bankrupt and have been paying the price ever since. He doesn't want to go there and who can blame him?

He's still a cunt though and so is his porn star mate Mrs Brady.
BlueSi13 Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Birmingham City, just another club in the Premier League that makes it look untidy ala Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn and Middlesbrough Who gives a fook what anybody from these types of clubs would say about us and other fellow big boys in the lower leagues (yes i no thats a contradictory statement but you no what i mean ) the whole country knows they are tinpot, little balloons inflated by Sky's hot air! Nobody will ever EVER care about them until they at least get a decent following, especially Birmingham, their attendances are simply embarrassing for the size of the city, doubt they'll sell out for most of their Premier League games!

Who then, in your opinion should the Premiership teams be? Taking away the untidy little clubs?
Mickey O'Neil Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Who the hell is he, with his background, to look down on us or even on Leeds? Perhaps, instead of indulging in needless digs, Gold should be asking himself why crowds at St Andrews this season have been lower than those witnessing League 1 football at either Elland Road or the Way. Fcuk off Gold you cvnt. 24,825 for the home game vs Preston whereby Brum could have clinched promotion. Shameful.
Shrenchel Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Err... Leicester do often yo-yo about and once went into administration. I'm sure the Leicester of the present don't want to be the Leicester of the recent past. Let's grow some thicker skin. Exactly. Its pretty much facts. I didnt realise there were so many sensitive souls on here.
Darkzzz_ Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Facts or not I don't give a toss. It is a great excuse to abuse Gold.
Samilktray Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 So he showed ambition and said he doesnt want to fuck up like us. And people start bitching. Sad
Guest Bilo Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Twat right off you porno selling cockrash. Birmingham are now, have always been and will always be a nothing club. Shocking support, no history and are smaller than Aston Villa, Wolves and West Brom. The West Midland's fourth club. What an accolade. We've been getting bigger attendances than you in League One and will continue that trend in the Championship. As for Leeds, even if they don't go up, they'll get more in for Wycombe than Brum will for the likes of Wigan and Stoke. Don't get too cocky about your present situation David, you'll be back in the Championship this time next year whinging about your fans telling you that you're a tosser. Which is a matter of fact.
Koke Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Birmingham are the smallest club in the Midlands, just above Walsall and Notts County.

Thank you. (I know there were other people who expressed this opinion too, I'm just too lazy to quote you all)
Rocky Dennis Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 We did go bust... don't see what the problem is. Did we?? Just called the administrators in didnt we??
ozleicester Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I would do Brady. Karen that is.Of course it is an attack, he is mocking us whilst trying to say Birmingham will be the next big thing. I hope they get relegated. Marsha, Marsha, Marsha
dandannieldanok Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 So he showed ambition and said he doesnt want to fuck up like us.And people start bitching. Sad What do people expect him to say?, "I want us to follow the Leicester blueprint of financial mismanagement and a double relegation to League One". Did we??Just called the administrators in didnt we?? Calling the administrators in is widely regarded as a last resort, so I'm pretty sure we were virtually bust.

We did not go Bankrupt, else we would not now exist, the bloke didnt have to directly name us did he? So what that little bearded shithead is saying is: a) unprofessional/disrepectful to the three clubs mentioned. b) not even fookin true
Edmund Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 Far more to do with the fact they haven't got many fans and they charge too much for tickets! Basically they all support Villa
