Budget of £30, what's the best I can get? Doubt I can get free Internet etc on Blackberry/iPhone so what's the next best thing where I may get some decent free Internet and worthwhile contract..

Wait a bit longer for the Orange release of the iPhone and it'd be within the original price band too! There is talk of it being priced at £30/month.

I know a couple of people who have the 5800 and they're happy with it (it can store terrifying amounts of porn clips, which my friend is delighted by). It's massive though, which I suppose is good for going on the internet which I don't really do. I have the 6700 and I think it's great, but it doesn't pretend to be anything other than just a phone. It's nice and small which is quite important to me. It's not the sturdiest feeling of devices (it's relatively cheap for Orange to buy them, they told me) and I was sent four before I got one that worked properly, but now I've got a decent one I'm very happy with it

It costs me a fiver a month extra for unlimited internet and emails, thats on top of a £20pm contract.

I can use it anywhere, doesn't have to be a WIFI area. It works faster in some places rather than others, my lounge and the slug and lettuce in town are both prolific in terms of internet speed.

When I had mine it was a joke, too slow, didnt load most pages fully and basically just weak compared to the iPhone

Which model was it? If it was the pearl or something then you are probably right. But the Storm/Curve etc are really quick in terms of internet speed. My mate hardly ever gets signal on his IPhone and often complains of slow internet.
