lol you post some funny shit

The porno phone is pretty funny, although I think it would probably be a bit risky showing the innocent stuff on there to his folks.

I wasn't laughing when the third phone in a row didn't work, but now I'm full of the joys of spring

I know a couple of people who have the 5800 and they're happy with it (it can store terrifying amounts of porn clips, which my friend is delighted by). It's massive though, which I suppose is good for going on the internet which I don't really do. I have the 6700 and I think it's great, but it doesn't pretend to be anything other than just a phone. It's nice and small which is quite important to me. It's not the sturdiest feeling of devices (it's relatively cheap for Orange to buy them, they told me) and I was sent four before I got one that worked properly, but now I've got a decent one I'm very happy with it

That's my problem. Being a bloke I keep my phone in my pocket all the time. and the thickness of the 5800 is slightly putting me off...

But what you say about the 6700 surprises me, it feels really sturdy in the shops! Compared with most phones...

Anything about the Tocco?

Save a bit longer for your new phones and SPONSOR RAJ NOW... every little will help.

There is a thread on this Babylon. If people wan't to sponsor then they will. No need to ram it down peoples throats

A thread that some won't read unfortunately Mr G.

I'm spreading the word for a bit to make people aware.... I won't be CONSTANTLY doing it so don't worry.

It's nice and heavy, for sure. The top back cover on the current one I have is a bit creaky, which doesn't make it feel like a top quality device, and on one of the others I had, the outer casing didn't quite meet with the centre piece, so there was a gap along the side which was a bit naff. These are minor concerns really though, every review I've seen says they're great

Thinking of taking out a tariff with O2; 24 month contract, 100 mins, unlimited texts, £14.69.

I've only ever been on pay-as-you-go before so forgive the questions if they seem a bit simple.

Is this good value? It seems to be because I text an awful lot but rarely call.

Are O2 reliable/good?

Are there any better deals out there that I'm missing that maybe you've had? I have shopped around quite a bit but you can't necessarily cover every single deal.

Also, does anyone know if the Samsung Tocco Lite is any good?

It costs me a fiver a month extra for unlimited internet and emails, thats on top of a £20pm contract.

I can use it anywhere, doesn't have to be a WIFI area. It works faster in some places rather than others, my lounge and the slug and lettuce in town are both prolific in terms of internet speed.

Who is you contract with? How many mins/texts do you get?

Ta.

Orange. Unlimited txts and 200 mins.

But because I've been with them for 3 years I've now got 3 magic numbers (which basically means I can have 3 specific numbers where it takes no mins off your contacted mins however long you call them for)

I just got a new Vodafone contract:

12 months

600 minutes

250 texts

Unlimited landlines

Unlimited mobile internet

£15.

It's cheap because I said I didn't want an upgrade. If you already have a phone or can get one cheaply then I'd suggest seeing if any providers will offer you contracts like mine...

Who are you on payg with? Just call them up asking for a PAC code because you're moving onto a contract with another provider, make up some bollocks about how the other network is offering you a special offer of this, this and this and then they'll beat it (presuming you've actually been spending a bit of money whilst on payg.)

I was on Orange payg because I've been living abroad, told them I was getting a contract with 02 and they've given me 1800 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited intrernet and a free sony W995 at £18.50 on an 18 month contract.

I want Orange to release some prices, plans and offers for the iPhone!

Really want one and with the news it will now be on Orange in a few months (As i'm a Orange customer) i'm even more tempted and it might be worthwhile looking into. The only thing that puts me off getting one is my job - A dusty, messy, and likely to get scratched environment, Do I really want to take a phone like the iPhone to work?

(I've tried the work phone/out of work phone system before, doesn't work for me!)

On O2, did try and get some money off but nothing was doing because it was an online offer. Couldn't be arsed to wrangle with them and start negotiating with others because I've been eager to get on with it. Was very tempted to go with t-mobile on one of their solo contracts but some people have told me t-mobile signals are crap most of time :dunno: . O2 did me fine with my pay-as-you go so I stuck with them.

The deal you've got is an absolute ripper mate, all that for £18.50 is quite some deal.

You plumb?

Brother-in-law runs his own building firm - I called him an utter twat for even thinking about taking an iPhone on site. He loses/breaks at least one phone a month, an iPhone wouldn't last a week.

Yeah it's bangin. Was spending 40 odd quid a month on payg with them for a year though so think that might've helped.

Never lost (Well thought i'd lost one once, It had actually fell out my pocket in my car) or broke a phone so far, No doubt if I got an iPhone I would though...

Nokia N97.

Really loving mine now, the fact there is a firmware upgrade due (which looks really good) and loads more apps coming out daily, makes this (I feel) best phone out there at mo.

well the Hero has been switching itself of and on lately and also i have only been getting baout 85% of my texts which is really annoying me, so rang orange and this bloke was like, the sytems are currently being upgraded at the minute but some one will ring you on tuesday to talk about it.

The contract i have got is great its just im not happy with the hero so i wouldn't mind just swapping the phone for anotherone; been looking at the SE W995. So im going to see if they will just swap phones for me. Saves me disconnecting, ringing back up and trying to haggle the same deal.

What do you reckon the chances of doing that are?
