Have you any evidence that Pearson does reprieves?

No, but I suspect Conrad Logan does.

Even Knowitall said Logan was finished with us..

You do?

From where I sit Logan's taking a considerable risk with his career. He wasn't even given the chance to feel involved in the cup games.

So, barring injury and the doubtful assumption that Pearson doesn't promptly sign another loanee, where does Logan get any encouragement from by way of matches?

He was in our first team three years ago, later performed regularly on loan in lower grade football and now his career seems to be at a standstill.

The guy needs games not endless weeks on the bench.

He does need games but he is never going to play unless there is injury like you said, so it seems he is happ to just sit on the bench.

Although, Wealey does have a bit of a history as being an injury-prone player so maybe NP does have faith in Logan.

DJ going, going, going...........................STILL FUCKING HERE THE MONEY GRABBING BASTARD!

KIA = God!!

Seems one of those who is happy to rot in the reserves as long as he is earning money. Any chance we will loan him out this week do we think? PErsonally, UI'd rather he went to a League One club if we did. Don't want to see him popping up with goals for our rivals in this league.

yeah but why would he want to play for a League One club when he can just sit here at City earning money for doing ****all?

He'd still be getting the same money if he went on loan but he'd actually be, you know, doing something with his life.

You'd think a player plucked from non-league obscurity would be a bit more down to earth.

I'm sure that Pearson would bring in a keeper on loan and use him as before Logan if Weale ever got injured.

KIA's back!!

he is certainly banging in the goals he must have learnt what being offside is now can NP keep ignoring him when our forwards are not scoring again in this league it would not surprise me to see him on the bench for saturdays game but if he came on what would his reception be like from the fans ????????

I don't think NP will ever forgive him - he's not the type of forgiving manager

We're only a few games into the season - so perhaps we'll find our scoring touch in the next few games, if we don't, then maybe NP will turn to DJ, but pesonally I don't think he will - I think theres more chance of NP recalling Kee from Accrington and putting him in the squad! I think that the reaction from the fans would be mixed, some would cheer, because they would be happy to see him in the team again, some won't react at all, and some will boo, because of his attitude at the club

Personally, I wouldn't really react at all.

doubt many would do that most hate him for his comments, it would only be maddog, people that don't have a clue what he said and my cousin that would cheer him.

I reckon he'll be sent out on loan soon anyway - thats if his wages situation can get sorted with the club he'd be loaned to, as no club will pay DJ what we're paying him

if he goes out on loan we'll be paying big chunk of his wages and i doubt NP would want to send him out again unless we weren't paying his wages. With the size of his pay packet its likely we'll be stuck paying for him to sit about in the reserves for 2 years yet.

We should play the guy. It's understandable he got frustrated when he wasn't getting a chance for Leicester in League One and clearly wasn't part of NPs plans and he therefore made those comments. We should forgive him. Everyone makes mistakes. He's the "natural" goalscorer we need.

31 goals in 121 games post Yeading would suggest otherwise. Mind you, if he learnt the offside rule he'd be a world beater.

True, I just jumped to the conclusion he was a natural goalscorer because of his 5 in 2 for the reserves, looking at his goal record he has done shite for us and hasn't scored many for other teams. As long as all our opponents this season are similar standard to our reserves opponents then he'd bag 40 odd
