I've tried to post this on football rumors :giggle:

I'm hardly great at writing reports but its worth a try!

Impressive, but the last paragraph was poor.

Believable :D

DJ to Notts County sounds pretty realistic actually :P

Not really - they seem to have the strikers they need already... :(

When I saw the Sky teletext headline, say, "Campbell Joins County", I thought we had got rid of D.J., and was already celebrating, when I realized it was Sol Campbell.! What a let down.

When he leaves here he will be 30, there is no way he will make more money by leaving now.

Can't stand him as a player but I certainly don't blame hime for cashing in while he can.

I'm not so sure and there are dependencies with this but let's say, based on what people have suggested, he'll earn a couple of million over the next two years if he stays here. However, no first team football for two years would seriously reduce his appeal to clubs, which would mean he would probably command 5k a week at best when he leaves. If he went to Blackpool he might earn just short of a million over two years. However, if he is able to continue the form he had at Blackpool last season that would surely increase his potential to earn more through a move to a richer club.

As he is only 28, he should have around five years at least that would allow him to earn a decent amount in football terms. Maybe he doubts his ability.

I was hoping he'd join Notts County!! .... they can afford him and he'd do a good job for them!

Only spoilt by the simple fact that we have all seen him play and know he can't replicate what he did last season.

He could move go on reduced wages and then have a career ending injuring, the guaranteed £2mill in the bank is too attractive to dismiss.

Leeds supporting mate has just told me someone on Waccoe said he was set to join them last week before Howard n Waghorn got injured.

Tryna find it on Waccoe now.

I think if Pearson wasnt such a stubborn person then DJ could still have a future at the club.

Or maybe He Isn`t wanted because of his poor attitude and unwillingless to agree to lower his wages for a move away from the club!

Any truth in the Leeds rumour Bert?

There's one been flying around for ages, but I've heard nothing concrete.

If he doesn't go anywhere before the window shuts surely he has to be at least named as a sub when we are injury hit and take Dickovs place.

Surely if he doesn't go permanently before the deadline he will be shipped out on loan somewhere till Jan anyway.

Surely if he doesn't go before the end of the window we'll let him go out on loan at get Blackpool to pay half his wages or something? You'd hope so anyway.

30 mins left. Looks like we are stuck with him! Doh

Get him on the bench. I dont care what he has done before if he gets a few goals its good for us because we need them and its good for everyone else to get the interest up...
