chesterfield_fox_91 Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 probably spent their ALL benefits buying that shirt.
soley118 Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Do cov really hate us this muchEDIT: Video not coming up soo just jealous that our average attendence was bigger than theirs even when we was in a league below
James. Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Oh dear a club that actually gives a toss about us, and we just get all snooty and basically say we're too good for a rivalry with them. Yet people insist on loathing Forest and Sheep, who quite frankly don't care. Typical Leicester fans really . Kind of what I was thinking. Regardless though it's never going to be a rivalry that warrants burning a shirt! Sad bastards.
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 I hate Cov too. The hatred stems from a few Coventry fans I know and from a few seasons back when some of their idiotic fans decided to confront me and my girlfriend. What a bunch of wankers. I hope we bury them next season and I would love to see them relegated.

Yet people insist on loathing Forest and Sheep, who quite frankly don't care. Typical Leicester fans really . Yeah I agree, the same sort of people that 'fucking hate Leeds' We're not 'too big' to have a rivalry with Cov, people need to sort themselves out if they think that.
J.Lisemore Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Can't be bothered with them. Bring on Peterborough, Derby and Forest.
RedHux Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Oh dear. The funniest thing about it is it says "Cov buring a leicester shirt" Now I'm not normally a spelling nazi but if you're going to have a go at someone at least make sure the simple words are spelt right. dumbass inbreds.
Corky Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 It's always good to beat them at home, they bring 3000, all expectant, until we score and it all falls flat for them.
wirralsimon Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Not worth getting worked up about them to be honest. They will be in league 1 next season. Simon
lcfc_jme Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Yeah I agree, the same sort of people that 'fucking hate Leeds'We're not 'too big' to have a rivalry with Cov, people need to sort themselves out if they think that. I don't think we're too big to have a rivalry with Cov, it's just that I really don't give two flying shits about their football team or their location? I mean, their fans are generally scummy inbred cunts from my experiences with them but that doesn't mean I hate their club. I will always have more hatred for Forest, Derby, Stoke and a number of Prem teams than I do for Cov.
Finnegan Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Kind of what I was thinking.Regardless though it's never going to be a rivalry that warrants burning a shirt! Sad bastards. Mh, I'm not someone who gets really big into footballing rivalries or needs to pretend everyone hates my club to get my kicks but I think Forest's attitude towards us is generally intended to wind us up more than it is genuine indifference. Derby might be their bigger rivalry but they clearly do care. I can only really remember anyone giving much of a fuck about Cov since Forest went down and we've been a little short of 'local' games over the last few seasons? I was friends with a Cov fan at uni and I can't say I was much bothered by them at all until I met him and he started mouthing off about City.
Shrenchel Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 What a bunch of ******. "'Leicester Fosse they used to be called, that was before 1900." Yeah you're really getting into the spirit of it mate.
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Probably still pissed about the city shirt builders buried in their ground as it was built. was about to say something about that. I'd hate that.
Koke Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Major Lollz @ at them ******. They probably bought that shirt for a substantial amount just to burn it. I used to like that shirt tbh.
iancognito Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 So I'm the only one surprised at how long it actually kept on burning? Me too! Though I'm amazed that lot had the intelligence not to be wearing the shirt when they burnt it. No wonder their ave. attendance is so low, half of them are standing in Cov high street burning shirts
Basingstoke Fox Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 was about to say something about that. I'd hate that. They probably thought if they burnt that shirt then the one underneath their ground would have disappeared
Manderic's pants Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Which one is Coventry again? The one with Kevin Costner in their town centre or the City made of roundabouts? Morons.
samjohnson Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Come off it... it kept a crowd of retards busy for just under 5 mins... And at the one that said "It aint even worth 2p" - Come off it, ive heard better from a 3 year old!
Daggers Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Them folks from Coventry, they seem a pretty clever bunch.
5waller5 Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 The whole thing was just so sad ...... the self consciousness of them all made me cringe ..... the witless attempts at put downs ...... and them just not knowing what to do when it took more than 10 seconds to burn ...... it really should be re-titled, "How we all became a little embarrassed the day our quick video, burning a "rivals" shirt, took too long and we realised fat steve was recording us and felt compelled to say something humorous or aggressive when we hadn't really had enough to drink to be so outgoing"
