Fox You Forest Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 So whats the weather forecast saying for tomorrow? Head groundsman says no chance of starting on time even if it doesn't rain through the night, should be decent enough in the afternoon though.

Jesus it must be seriously flooded. I bet they have also been working late into the night. Even though the draw is inevitable it would be nice to watch some cricket this weekend.

They've had to pay refunds today so they'll get 25 overs in somehow like Thursday.
Edmund Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 They've had to pay refunds today so they'll get 25 overs in somehow like Thursday. Is that the rule 25 overs and no refunds?
Fox You Forest Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Is that the rule 25 overs and no refunds? Less than ten is a full refund, 11-25 half refund, Over 25 you get nothing.
TrickyTrev Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Head groundsman says no chance of starting on time even if it doesn't rain through the night, should be decent enough in the afternoon though. The drainage is terrible. Shocking that a test ground has this bad facilities.
Fox You Forest Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 It looks good to me from the pics on SSN, shouldn't be too long if any delay.
Matt Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 It looks good to me from the pics on SSN, shouldn't be too long if any delay. Looks very good, SSN said it could be an 11am start! Mind you, It does look quite nice and sunny outside today ...That'll soon change no doubt
Ultra Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 The drainage is terrible. Shocking that a test ground has this bad facilities. Edgbaston is one of the better grounds. There's not much any ground could have done with so much rainfall in the last week.
Edmund Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Did Warne just say what i think he did? :w00t: Warney just said "Twat it!" silence Excellent
Finchy Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Warney just said "Twat it!" silence yeah, could just hear Bumble in the background laughing.
purpleronnie Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Cant make out a song I think the aussies are singing, at the end everone goes woooooaaaahhhhh! Any ideas?
SamL Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Soooooooooper Mitchell Johnson. These are vital runs being added right now. The higher the lead is, the more pressure we can apply to the Australian batsmen. If we can get a couple of quick wickets then tomorrow could be an interesting day, weather permitting.
David Guiza Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Couple of wickets tonight would be very good . Esspecially getting Katich early on.
Craig Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 This is totally winnable now Seriously considering going tomorrow.
