Shrenchel Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 Bwahaha. 3 of my mates bought non-refundable tickets to day 5 yesterday because they were convinced they were gunna see England win the Ashes. Were tryna talk me into it. Glad I didn't crack, the way it's going they won't even see a fooking over.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 What a feeble bunch of wickets, most of them just a dangle of the bat at the ball, we'll be lucky to make 100.
Milky Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 I hope they don't just give up. Do the same to them and all that.
RowlattsFox Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 In a way I hope we get all out today, so we can have a bowl in these conditions. If we somehow amazingly batted out most the day, we might not have the same conditions tomorrow. Just give Prior the licence to have a go and see what he can do, we know he can score quickly if he stays in. No point just hanging around because you'll just get out anyway.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 Bet Anderson was gutted to see Harmison go out before him.
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 In a way I hope we get all out today, so we can have a bowl in these conditions. If we somehow amazingly batted out most the day, we might not have the same conditions tomorrow. This. Maybe we should have declared at lunch! The scorecard makes for painful reading. Prior 37, Cook 30, extras 17 and the other nine England batsmen getting 18 between them! C'mon England!
Corky Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 And then Watson takes ten off the first four balls Oh dear, 102 all out, what a shambles. Only decent part of the day so far was Bumble talking about LA and USA

If we somehow amazingly batted out most the day, we might not have the same conditions tomorrow. Yeah I hope england get bowled out for nothing thats the way to win a test. Whats wrong with you? Theres no way the Aussies will collaspe like us even in the same conditions, it was a one off. Looks like (unless the weather gets worse, please get worse) it'll mean we will have to win the final test, TBH I would have taken that at the start I expected more from the Aussies, although I did predict them to win 2-1. EDIT: Maybe I wrote that too soon. Me and my big keyboard!
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 This is what we get for being told not to boo. I think you're right. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
lcfc_jme Posted 7 August 2009 Posted 7 August 2009 Epic fail by England this morning. To be honest, you couldn't help but laugh. Should set up a beautiful decider, though.

Wow, give that brave man a medal.
