What does everyone think the crowd will be? I think it will be mid 20s hopefully pushing 27/28000 which would be good.

I think we'll be around the mid 20's mark too.

Cannot wait, boring all summer so this is it, the season in 5 days!! Come on! :scarf:

Interesting to see how many fans turn out, should be alot, Swansea should also bring alot with it being their first visit, and a new manager.

Also, interesting to see what team Nigel puts out, ecspecially the midfield area.

Hopefully we can have a good go at the division :scarf::banana:

Agree with this. I think Fryatt will probably come off after an hour or so, probably replaced by N'Guessen. If Fryatt doesn't start, I think the situation will be reversed. Does anyone actually know when Mattock is back? I read he will be back before the Swansea game, but I don't think he'll play. Don't think we'll miss him too much as Berner can do an adequate job there. I'm more concerned about Morrison at right back, but with Neilson out he's still our best bet.

26,000 - 28,000 with just under 1500 away fans.

We'd shifted 2,200 tickets as of Friday, so I'd imagine we'll be pretty close to selling the lot.

We're struggling a bit up front, but the rest of the side's been pretty impressve in pre-season, so should be a decent game. 1-1 I'll go for...but if we can go three minutes without conceding it'll be an improvement on the last two seasons anyway.

We'll probably line up:

England u19s lost in the final and seen as though the competition has finished he should be back pretty soon. I think Berner would do a better job than him anyway.

expect around 2,800 swans fans on saturday... we may even sell out as there are only around 500 of the 3,000 tickets left on sale! all makes for what should be a cracking atmosphere! :D

Just watched Leicester 3-3 Arsenal on ESPN Classic, what a game. Should show the team it on Saturday morning, if that didn't fire them up nothing would.

Unfortunately I can't make the first two home games of the season due to work commitments but am still bloody excited about flicking on Soccer Saturday at work.

Can see us coming out on top of the Midlands clubs on the first day with Florist, Cov and Derby all having tough games to start with. I'm rusty wih my predictions, and they were pretty crap to start with, I'm going for a 2-1 victory with Fryatt and Wellens scoring the goals.

looking forward to saturday, I use to stand in the KOP pen 3 at Filbo when I was the same age as a lot the people on this forum. These days my brother and I slum it with a Great Hall/Keith Weller lounge season ticket.
