Jay Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I am always excited first day of the season but normally all my hopes and dreams are shattered within 90mins
StanSP Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 fukin cmon leocester!!! Three points in teh vag on openin day!! Beat the welsh tits and gwt a win. Somehow that can work as a sexual metaphor .
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Right, just got off the ferry in Hull. Don't let them start without us! Sorry to hear Daggers has given up on the Blue Army, although I do have some sympathy. It's in the blood, though, innit?

Free Falling Foxes Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 My nephew has asked if he can stay after the match to see the players leave - including the Swansea team bus. He's never asked that before. Anyone know approx how long after the match it'll happen?
Jonezy Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 KOM SÅ LEICESTER!!! - Feeling optimistic, 3 point start would do very nicely, especially with the away games we have coming up.
marbelladave Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Mods and Fans. Perhaps you would like to review the illustrious career of Zeljko Raznatovic before allowing the name Arkan to be associated with our club in any way!

Anyone know approx how long after the match it'll happen? For City players it'll be longer. But there have been a couple of occasions where I've walked out after the match and the opposition are already on their bus. So about 5.15/5.30 ish?
Babylon Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Mods and Fans.Perhaps you would like to review the illustrious career of Zeljko Raznatovic before allowing the name Arkan to be associated with our club in any way! Maybe he means the Arkan dance. I'd imagine the use of it goes over 99.9% of peoples heads on here, it certainly does mine I think I'll body swerve this one and leave it to an Admin.
Babylon Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Surely best wishes for today could simply go into the matchday thread. There's a match day thread?

A war criminal so extreme that he was (in all probability) disposed of by his own side! Perhaps a little education in modern European history would not go amiss. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDeljko_R...%BEnatovi%C4%87

I'm quite capable of choosing subjects to educate myself about and Ukranian war lords is not one I'm interested in. I had already checked the name arkan, i'd have thought that was obvious considering the fact I made a comment about the dance of the same name. Whether the use of Arkan is against board rules I have no idea... maybe you should ask Radovan to explain his use of it first.

I'm after some sex education specialising in kinky boots and syrup flowing down smooth thighs - if anyone can recommend a good teacher I'd be grateful, ta.

Swansfan Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Think Gower plays left for them. Either way, Berner and Morrison? I'm massively unconfident about those two. Gower and Dyer swap wings throughout the game.
Flynny Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Gower and Dyer swap wings throughout the game. Like Gradel, Pearson likes to keep us N'Guessen (N.B. - not even my own shit joke, this one.)
AmericanScott Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Got my tickets last night!! I'm looking forward to this. I'm a little bit nervous about Swansea as they are a cracking side. Lets see how they fair without Gomez, Scotland and Bodde (he is injured right?). I'm feeling 1-1. Tunchev to score.

Swansfan Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Yep Bodde is still out . Yep hes out Don't worry though we have Mark Gower who scored a hattrick last week (he didn't score a goal at all last season) so hes on fire!! Im thinking its going to be an entertaining game. Ill be listening to this on the radio but hope its an enjoyable game!!
MPH Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 1-0 city. Cagey match neither wanting to concede but Wellens latches onto a rebound that very kindly falls to him.
