Bert Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 With the weekend all but over, and the football season returning in just over 5 days, we can all get back to normality now! Things to discuss and argue about, up and downs, rip-off ticket prices, cold nights up north and down south, last minute winners, (and losers) boring 0-0's, are all some of the things that we can probably expect in the next 9 months - I for one cannot wait. COME ON YOU BLUES.

COME ON YOU BLUES. Seconded, make this the swans pre match thread on wednesday or something. Cannot wait, I loved today even if it was boring, the new turf, the new kits, the new players... Its just a great feeling when you know the season is upon you.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I actually can't wait any lonegr. The anticipation is killing me.
StanSP Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Might as well make it the pre-match thread anyway. Today's win will install confidence going into Saturday. Plus Fryatt will have more confidence too. To him it is one game, one goal for pre-season!

COME ON YOU BLUES. Me either!!! Cant believe its nearly upon us, the excitement is almost too much! Its been a shite Summer for me, one thing after another and this is gonna be a real boost to get to see some footy every week again. Last season I was really ill and missed the first couple of months so its even more special for me to get to the WS on Saturday, see all the old faces again (even the morons!) talk footy with like-minded souls, 90 minutes of every kind of emotion known to man will descend upon me and I'll be yawping like a fish-wife again! Would like to wish everyone an enjoyable season and hope to meet a few of you along the way perhaps! Who knows what the seasons gonna bring but we all want the same thing and love the same team so COME ON YOU FOXES!!
maddog Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Still need to get my Swansea tickets. No ST for first time in 12 seasons ish as don't know if/where/what i will be doing with Uni or job or whatever yet. So my bullshit could be dramatically reduced if i miss a lot more matches next season
flanimal Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I feel like an alcoholic getting a pint! My restless mind is almost at peace!
Flynny Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Messed with your subtitle so no-one bothers making a useless thread later on. Reading this title actually got me quite excited, it doesn't seem quite real, doesn't seem 2 seconds since the season finished, barely feels like we've had a summer in between. Can't wait to see how we actually stack up back in a tough league.
Budweiser Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I cannot wait for this season. I haven't a clue where we will finish, top or bottom.
Ozwin Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Am I the only one that thought Michael Jackson when I read the topic title? ;_;
Corky Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Looking forward to it, all to be witnesses from my new seat
Budweiser Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Am I the only one that thought Michael Jackson when I read the topic title? ;_; My God, this cracked me up.

Sods Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Looking forward to going back to normal yes, the pre season has gone very quick! Bring it on, show no fear City and pick off from where we let off. Waking up on a Saturday, feeling dreadful from the night before then realising your off to watch the lads is a great feeling.
Asha Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Looking forward to it, all to be witnesses from my new seat New seat huh? Where's everyone sitting this year out of interest? L1 for me this time.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I've moved from K1 to lose my L1 virginity...and i cannot wait! I'm looking forward to meeting a few people from here too. So here's to a top season everyone. L.T.I.D
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Same place in L1 as the previous two seasons. No Kilworth in front of me now though.

ousefox Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Can't believe pre-season is over already. It doesn't seem 5 mins since we won the league at Southend! Such a great feeling when you finallt get back into the stadium for the first game!
Dr The Singh Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 I can't wait and the boy is even more eager then me!!
