Does Ferrie Bodde still play for them?

Yes I think, is he injured though?

Heard Bolton wanted him, but then again, Megson wants everyone!

Excited but nervous.

Same! I felt really excited today knowing its less than a week until the first game but as the day went on started to get a nervy feeling. I thinks its just because its hard to predict how we will do. I just hope we get going to a good start to keep the fans interested and hopefully entice a few players to sign as well!

Either way, I can't wait to get started! COME ON CITY!

I can't wait to neck some beer and have a chat and a cob - but I've never felt less motivated by a pre-season and the prospect of what's to come.

Coming on Saturday, have to in order to return the STs. Then there'll be the odd ones from thereon in.

But, as I said last season, I'm pretty sick of them, the shite atmosphere and the plethora of wankers in attendance.

It's not just football, it's society in general. When I was in town this afternoon, I really wanted to leave this country and go and live somewhere else.

That happens to me on a daily basis. I would happily have fooked Skegness off today and emigrated to Siberia or something.

I remember you saying you'd caved and bought them, what made you end up changing your mind?

If anyone is actually interested the ref is 'Kegley' or something like that (according to Football League website). Never heard of him so must probably shite!

Anyone know who he is?

Because it was never my choice to renew the STs.

The season kicked off on a poor footing with some balding twat gobbing off in front of us - and then finished poorly too, arseholes trying to lump Cobbo at Hereford and chanting shite at home.

I'm sick of listening to absolute cunts at football matches and being treated like one by football clubs.

I've other stuff I'd rather be doing, tbh.

Are you talking about your son? I remember you saying something about him wanting to go but it's a garbled memory at best.

Wife.

Wife bought them on the morning of the deadline when I was deadly hungover.

Stoopid wife.

Hopefully we can get a winning start.

Looking down the fixture list Swansea, Barnsley, Blackpool, P'boro, Preston are our first home matches and all winnable if Fryatt and Howard can somehow score goals.

If we fail to take many points from those first five it could set the tone for the season and we may struggle.

Because our first 5 away matches are all loseable, Ipswich, Newcastle, M'Boro, Watford and Sheff Utd.

I can see us taking 4-6 points ish from those away matches, so we could do with 4 home wins to get us off nicely.

I will be disappointed if we don't get 3 wins from the opening 5 home games.
