Guest Bilo Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2588903/Canaries-give-Gunn-the-bullet.html I would like to point out that a) I didn't know the Sun were running that headline, and b) I don't work for them. No siree. Though I do love the GUNN BUT NOT FORGOTTEN subheading.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Paul Lambert appointed manager after he's just beaten them 7-1.
AjcW Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Paul Lambert appointed manager after he's just beaten them 7-1. Lambert does seem to flit about quite alot. Seems to have a season at each club. Funny story though, at least he will know their weaknesses Good luck to the goalkeeper
davieG Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Paul Lambert appointed manager after he's just beaten them 7-1. So Lambert must be able to see some potential in that 'Gunn' team he's just beaten.
AjcW Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Moved to local rivals too, the colchester fans are nottt happy, and the norwich fans are quite litterally laughing their asses off.
lou Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 The Sun will DEFINATELY use the 2nd one... Id bet my house on it! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2588903/Canaries-give-Gunn-the-bullet.html I would like to point out that a) I didn't know the Sun were running that headline, and b) I don't work for them. Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I think that is a very, very good appointment. He knoews what he is doing snd Colchester were my darkhorses for the Playoffs this season. Norwich will be up there.
Jimmy Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 apparently the Norwich Chief Exec has a bit of money behind him and is considering a buy out, with a bit of money behind him, Lambert will get them in the play-offs at the very least
Edmund Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Paul Lambert appointed manager after he's just beaten them 7-1. Amazing scenes. That 7-1 thrashing was basically his job interview.
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Currently losing 4-1 at home to Sunderland. 3-0 down at halftime and there's just been one of the best own goals ever scored...

Edmund Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Wes Hoolahan going in goal. I reckon we will see a couple of goals in the last five minutes.
Fosse Boy Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Norwich fans singing On the Ball, City. Love it.
Unabomber Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Well I wasn't expecting much from this game but it has been bloody entertaining.
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Yeah, really good and entertaining game. I didn't expect that much action on both sides. First win for Sunderland at Carrow Road in 24 years.
Corky Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Norwich played some decent stuff, they were just cut apart by Sunderland's quality on the break. Reid's first goal was class.

Fox You Forest Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 It was a cracking goal, but he did have about three weeks to make up his mind and pick his spot. I'm still baffled as to how Gary Doherty has earned himself a career in professional football. Even managing a few game in the premiership!
leicesterfox86 Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Norwich played some decent stuff, they were just cut apart by Sunderland's quality on the break.Reid's first goal was class. Enjoyed this game actually, wasn't expecting too much from it. The difference, as you pointed out, was Sunderland's extra quality in the final third. Norwich had their chances, but failed to take them. Sunderland took theirs and ran out comfortable winners.
