Unabomber Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Played more like Theo Paphitis. One of the worst attempts at a joke I think I have ever witnessed. Theo Paphitis is a successful businessman who is well known for his role on Dragons Den, the popular BBC tv program so it is unfair to compare him to a woeful league one goalkeeper.
Katy Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I have a friend who's a Narch fan and he took the piss big time when we went down, they can screw off.
Budweiser Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I quite like Norwich Stop being so mean, lads. Same But still Fooking awful.
MC Prussian Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Oh the joys of not having to play League One anymore.
CosbehFox Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Theo Paphitis is a successful businessman who is well known for his role on Dragons Den, the popular BBC tv program so it is unfair to compare him to a woeful league one goalkeeper. He wasn't very successful at being a football chairman though....
Guest Bilo Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I deliberately drove past my local on the way home, giving the landlord and a smattering of regulars sat outside (all loyal Norwich fans) a pip of my horn and a cheery wave. Pure evil. Bloody hell Fi, I never would have you down as being so evil! I think it just underlines what a great achievement it was for us to win the division so well last season, we may have made it look easy but it really is one tough bugger of a league.
Ultra Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Appointing Gunn was a classic example of letting the heart rule the head. Great servant for the club, probably a lovely guy, but clearly not up to the task. It'd be like us appointing Walshy, legend for the club, full of passion etc etc but would probably fail monumentally if appointed one day. This. Gunn is out of his depth as a manager. He'll be replaced by the end of the month.
Daggers Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 This.Gunn is out of his depth as a manager. He'll be replaced by the end of the month. No doubt this is mainly due to his support of the bridge - Is he a racist too?
Ashley Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Welcome to League one or what? They'll still be high up in the league come the end of the season.
AjcW Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 He wasn't very successful at being a football chairman though.... Thank you, the idiot who made that quote clearly forgot that, so my joke was football related!!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Michael Theoklitos was in goal for his first game for Norwich he is a very good keeper, he started off shakey for us at Melbourne Victory then was immense in goals for his 4 seasons he had here. He will be ok.
MC Prussian Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Worst home defeat ever in their 107-year old history. They once lost 1-6 at home to Bournemouth... in 1946.
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I deliberately drove past my local on the way home, giving the landlord and a smattering of regulars sat outside (all loyal Norwich fans) a pip of my horn and a cheery wave. Pure evil. anotheroneofwalshieswomen was later found dead in a skip with a lad who drove his tractor through norwich city centre. Wont be long till Bryan Gunn gets the bullet. it all depends on how many postal strikes will hapeen within the next week, i posted it this morning so i would say it will arrive thursday morning after the league humilation for norwich.
Corky Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 What an appalling start, I can't see them recovering from this to mount a promotion challenge.
Webbo Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 What an appalling start, I can't see them recovering from this to mount a promotion challenge. Tbh I was stunned by this. I seriously thought it was between them and Leeds to win it.
Suffolk_fox Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Tbh I was stunned by this. I seriously thought it was between them and Leeds to win it. Ha ha funniest thing I have read on here for ages! Played Webbo, top bombing!
Suffolk_fox Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Does anyone else think that Bryan Gunn in his glasses looks like Eddie Hitler (Ade Edmondson) from Bottom?
Nath Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Does anyone else think that Bryan Gunn in his glasses looks like Eddie Hitler (Ade Edmondson) from Bottom? More like the geezer from Adams family if you ask me
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Does anyone else think that Bryan Gunn in his glasses looks like Eddie Hitler (Ade Edmondson) from Bottom? know you come to mention it... No
Unit Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 This weekend saw Norwich City equal their worst ever defeat, slumping to a 7-1 home thrashing at the hands of Colchester. One young fan was heard on the phone to his sister, saying "Mum I couldn't believe it, if they conceded any more I'd have had to count them on my other hand..."
