lou Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 think if we kept the system we played against Newcastle Adams would flourish as the attacking cm of the 3 Didnt he play at CM against Watford away and struggled immensely? Could be wrong but I thought he did then he was put on the wing and was much better?
Tevez Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 think if we kept the system we played against Newcastle Adams would flourish as the attacking cm of the 3 Yeah of course he would.
Jimmy Posted 3 February 2010 Author Posted 3 February 2010 Yeah of course he would. if he was given minimal defensive responsibilities I think he would do well and create a fair bit for us
StanSP Posted 4 February 2010 Posted 4 February 2010 Tom Parkes seems to be doing pretty well at Burton Albion so far. Speaking to a Burton fan i know, he says that Parkes is 'amazing', and has won 2 man of the match awards already. He's also made Burton's captain go out on loan cos Parkes is keeping him out of the team .
Jimmy Posted 4 February 2010 Author Posted 4 February 2010 sounds like we may have a gem on our hands then but lets see how he does over the next few months before reading too much into it
MC Prussian Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Adams played all 90 minutes and provided the assist to Tamika Mkandawire's goal that put Leyton Orient 1-0 up against Leeds (FT 1-1).
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 DJ Campbell played today. Ninety minutes. Didn't score.
Ric Flair Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 DJ Campbell played today.Ninety minutes. Didn't score. He must have got mugged or something.
Jimmy Posted 13 February 2010 Author Posted 13 February 2010 Craig King played 54 mins for Hereford Kee came on in the 72nd min for Accy
lou Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 DJ Campbell played today.Ninety minutes. Didn't score. He NEARLY scored though! Recall him!!
Jimmy Posted 13 February 2010 Author Posted 13 February 2010 obviously don't know how he's played but Craig King has 2 goals in 20 apps (18 starts) for Hereford. Kee has 3 goals in 22 (only 6 starts) for Accy Chambers wasn't even on the bench for Grimsby btw
Thracian Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 obviously don't know how he's played but Craig King has 2 goals in 20 apps (18 starts) for Hereford. Although he's played much of his football for the Academy as a supplementary striker, Craig King is really a central midfielder player from all I've seen. He's a tallish player and quite skillful but his great stregth is his prodigious energy and enthuisiasm. Against that was a tendency to take more touches than necessary and to run into blind alleys. If he takes time to study his namesake, Andy, and learns to pass the ball as quickly and economically as he does, then the lad has an excellent chance of making a Football League player. He seems to have a great attidude.
Thracian Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Spoke to a mate of mine who's a massive Orient fan, absolutely raves about the guy, would love to keep him on judging by the first few games he's played Can't imagine Adams would object to moving on. I don't see that he'sever had aproper chance to make an impression at Leicester.
Thracian Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Adams played all 90 minutes and provided the assist to Tamika Mkandawire's goal that put Leyton Orient 1-0 up against Leeds (FT 1-1). The BBC have managed to credit three different people with scoring Leeds'late equaliser, including Adams with an own goal. Standards aren't what they used to be!
Ozwin Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Dunno if it's been posted but a Leyton fan I know says Pearson's recalled Adams.
Vlad The Impaler Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Recalled. Great news!! Let's hope ge gets a few games this time round
Fox You Forest Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Interesting, I really hope the lad gets a chance.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 I posted it first you credit stealer. Post news instead of idle speculation then, my goal was only to confirm it.
Onions Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Good stuff, I rate the guy so hopefully he does well. Although recalling him, instead of getting a player on loan would suggest we are not getting anyone loan.
markbsac Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 nicky adams is quality ....and i have said before the lad needs to play or he will be off and we will have lost a quality player......i really rate him......a tenacious midfielder who can dribble tackle and cross a ball.
davieG Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 Not recalled as such his loan spell ended - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...t&p=1572760
surrifox Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 he was quoted in the (London) Evening Standard saying he loved it at Orient and did not want to go back to keep the bench warm on the occasions he even got that far. If NP saw that he would not have enjoyed reading it
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 February 2010 Posted 14 February 2010 he was quoted in the (London) Evening Standard saying he loved it at Orient and did not want to go back to keep the bench warm on the occasions he even got that far. If NP saw that he would not have enjoyed reading it I think that'd be pretty apparent and obvious though.
