Just seen goals on SSN. Fryatts was just a quick touch oof Oakleys shot from the free kick, whilst there really was not much to be done about Uniteds goal. Just got it form the throw and BANG in the top corner.

Saw the Scunny Boro game and Murphy the keeper saved a Johnson penalty only to bring him down whilst he was going for the rebound!

Johnson scored the 2nd peno!

lol yeah just saw these. Keeper was wrong-footed for our goal. Fair play to Treacy. Good goal.

Kinda hoping that Waghorn doesn't end up returning to Sunderland for a period of "indefinite treatment" we've seen this happen with injured loan players before and not got them back.

I have a feeling this forces our hand into the loan or transfer market.

We don't have quality depth in squad up front where as in my opinion we have a reasonable amount of quality cover for the rest of the pitch. (Aside from keeper maybe...I'm thinking about card bans here though for future reference)

90 mins of Dickov.... - he'll struggle but we are playing the bottom team in the division - all be it after only 3 games.

I think NP will be having a think tonight and will be making a few loan calls in the morning to a few contacts after bending Milan's ear.

The injuries, especially the Howard hammy could mean 5-7 weeks but hopefully nearer 3-4 he won't have the recovery time of a player who is 24 years old - those over 30 will know what I am talking about.

I don't fancy DJ - I mean this in every sense of the statement. NP won't want to play him if at all possible - he'd much rather he rotted, I suspect.

I think personally the next week or two will be a key indicator wether or not we push for top 6 or have a mid table consolidation year and it's not about desire, passion or drive or ambition.... it's about finances, we'll just have to sit tight and see what they come up with.

You had a lucky escape mate! One of the most exciting matches I have ever heard on the radio. And that makes them more of a killer as you are desperate to see what is going on.

Trust me you did your heart the world of good going to work!

None of them injuries (Howard aside) sounded that bad. Fryatt was only limping, he does have the best part of a week to recover.

Hang on, I mean:

GOD MILAN SORT IT OUT NOW BUY BECKFORD BUY COX BUY KANU JUST DO SOMETHING MILAN GET YOUR CHEQUEBOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

In the end, I'm a little disappointed not to have won tonight - which is really just a testament to how well we played for the first 70 minutes. After that, as others have said, we lost our shape and really sat back, inviting them to attack.

They were sensing a winner, and we didn't seem to have attacking options by the end. Such a change from the swans and macclesfield games - we really came out firing from the kick-off. Blue Army were in good voice, but the nerves got to us too once they'd equalised.

Had we held on to the lead tonight we'd have been joint top. That's a stunning credit to the squad and NP. People have talked about the contribution of Wellens quite rightly, but I thought everyone played well tonight.

Chris Weale looked very assured in goal. Wasn't much he could do about the goal but apart from that he was comfortable in the air, good kicking with both feet and communicated well with the defence. He'll do.

Just got back.

That was a truly inspirational first half performance, it's no exaggeration we took the piss out of Sheffield United, and passed the ball around like Arsenal.

Once again it was a case of lacking that cutting edge in the final third which someone said on here the other day, Fryatt missed what looked like a one on one but hard to see from the away end, and we couldn't get a goal to reward our dominance.

The 2nd half, a completely different story. I haven't seen a side destroy us like that since when we were 3-1 up at Fulham and they had all of the ball, and permenantly in our box and won 4-3, it was amazing how fast and strong Sheffield United looked that 2nd half, i will be shocked if they don't make the playoffs minimum.

But we got exactly what we deserved, and our first point from Bramall Lane in many years.

Fantastic atmosphere, really exciting match, great performance, excellent.

Bruno Berner what a player.

It's true, Leicester are back.

Great in the first - they came into it in the second, but we have seen before we are not the same team without Steeeeeeeeve. Hope he is ok...

Played them off the park in the first half, then batteled to the end when we came under pressure.

Wayne Brown was an absolute rock. I loved it. There was one header he won and my God he destroyed the centre forward.

Their goal looked a bit tidy, although we could've closed down better.

Wellens by the way, what a signing - why has he been with these smaller clubs for so long? If anyone can Cruyff turn on a 6 pence like that, they should be in the Prem!

I'm absolutely buzzing about Leicester at the moment, Pearson has really put together a team to be proud of. Let's hope the good times continue.

Playing for the draw did not please me.

Our forward line had been decimated!

Good point.

As in, it was a good draw, not that you had a good point...haha

Great performance, we showed quality throughout the pitch. First half our midfielders and strikers were running rings around them and then the last 30 minutes the defence really earnt their wage. Resolute to the fullest.

Another great away point. Berner and Brown were the standouts for me.

Denied by an absolute fooking rocket, and then when under the cosh we absorbed the pressure.

On another day we would have been coming home with all 3 points.

They're playing some fantastic stuff, long may it continue. :D

overall if you would have asked me at the start of the day would i have taken a point? the answer would have been yes.

Up untill we scored we were the better side by far, when they scored there goal it was a good strike but lucky, i still feel that we could have taken a few more goals.

As for mark Bunn after the reception he got from the leicester fans to do that when they scored was harsh.

like someone said before in reflection its 2 points dropped but if we can draw our hard away game and win the home ones i think we'll do well.

Wellens and Bruno were top notch again tonight, While the atmosphere was electric and some of the chants! Great!

Take that.

Our lucky goal sparked fantastic celebrations, and the time between us scoring and them equalising was qaulity I thought. But then a stunner from Treacy brought us back down to earth.

Rode our luck at times towards the end.

Did anyone else see the drop ball that Morgan seemed to want to contest? Only to bottle it and kick it back to us when Wayne Brown stepped up to the plate?

Lisa, Carl, Scowy and myself enjoyed that very much.

He blatantly meant to kick that out for a throw in aswell.

Sorry but...

Those who spend countless pounds on Leicester City Football Club, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Fryatt was shit, despite the goal. N Guessan looks like he was worth the compensation fee, Neilson looks like he was worth the new house on his personal terms.

Sorry but the only two people that merited abit of credit was Nicky Adams and Richie Wellens. (Would say back 4 but they had nothing much to do)

Sheff United are a good side but they were very beatable tonight.

Quality day out though and that's what I live for when going away days.

All the best to the supporters who travel up and down the country to follow the team, you certainly deserve much more credit.

All the best, Tevez.

Pretty similar to Ipswich really. We were fantastic first half and made them look like mugs at times. Once we scored, they were always going to push on for a an equaliser, and what a screamer it was.

Our back line is looking solid, 3 experienced defenders, Berner and Brown in particular deserve great credit for the way they've started the season, with a young promising defender who was class yet again.

It's a shame Richie Wellens will end up picking up 15 bookings this season, because he gives us that extra bit what we've not had for a while, I think he's been booked in every game so far, certainly every league match. Oakley was always there and done his job, and Nicky Adams impressed me again - I'd like to see Adams and Dyer on the wings Saturday, with Oakley and Wellens in the centre, as even though he was hit and miss, N'Guessan will probably be playing up front.

Losing Howard was a blow, but it encouraged us to play more, rather than panic and hoof and at times it was class. Waghorn and Fryatt both worked really hard and looked as if they could work well together, let's not forget they came up against one of the best back lines in the league tonight.

Hoping the injuries aren't as bad as first feared.

Delighted

Forget the result, I think we all know a point was, yet again, the least we deserved

Those first 65 minutes, whether it was Sheff U being crap or not, we were fantastic, we were brilliant. Pass, Pass, Pass, assured pass after pass. Creating openings, carving the sheffield united defence up.

That performance has delighted me. Ok, the last 25 we were being held by the testicles and squeezed nice and hard. But by jiminy we played well tonight.

The only concern I have is how clinical we are up top. I have 100% confidence in the defence. I don't get that scraed when teams attack us. But I have no confidence when we attack other teams. That first 65 deserved at least 2, but we only had one.

If we get a potent strike force, we are assured a top 10 finish, becuase we are just amazing.

Oh and lastly... Oakley and Wellens, I am still jizzing myself from Saturday, and I ain't gonna stop. Best centre mid partnership in the CCC?
