Collymore Posted 18 August 2009 Author Posted 18 August 2009 I say yes HOW THE FOOK DO YOU DO A POLL THESE DAYS    WHY IS IT SO HARD :banghead: :banghead: Could a mod set yes and no for me please?
DeclanMC Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 maddog has sullied the reputation of polls on this forum.
DB11 Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Nah not after I actually saw him playing last week. He's so uninterested in LCFC.
MPH Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 The perfect time for him to be played, actually... IF all 3 are out then we have nothing to lose by playing him and everything to gain..
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Not really. Only would if it was a 'desperate times call for desperate measures' moment. He should only play if he will play to give 100%. But like I said in the match thread, a target man is needed do badly for us to play well, if we cant get one in, I would even consider putting a defender up front like we did with Walsh. Rather do that than play DJ.
nuttytimmy Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 The perfect time for him to be played, actually... IF all 3 are out then we have nothing to lose by playing him and everything to gain.. The fact remains that DJ is capable of scoring at this level - and it's goal's we'll be needing if Fryatt and Howard (the main man as far as assists/chance creation goes) are both out.
BoneDog Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 If needs be then yes play him and see what happens. He is actually a good striker for this level and for whatever reason never got much of a chance with us. From the sounds of tonights game then we will be without our 3 main strikers on Saturday so DJ is the best cover we've got IMO. Whether he wants to play for us or not is another matter.
casablancas Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Thing is with DJ is that he is proven at this level and he will get goals as he proved at Blackpool, however would we want him in the team - No. But do we need him in the team? at the minute yeah, if our 3 are indeed out
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 More in favour of Yes than No at the moment, very interesting.
iancognito Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I'd rather we released him from his contract and gave his wages to someone else. He doesn't want to play for us, we want him out of the club, best for everyone if he's gone. He gets a fresh start and we get an extra few grand for an as yet un-named Liverpool reserve to play up front for us.
FilboFox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I said no... but only cause he said he never wanted to come back here. Looking at things at they are though, we may have no choice if nobody else is brought in and he's not shipped out for some much needed cash. And he can score... just a shame that he didn't before when he did play for us...
JoeyB Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Would rather go for 4-3-3 style. King Wellens Oakley in midfield With Fryatt being supported by Adams/ N'Guessen/ Dyer/ Gradel
Shane Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I hope NP plays him and he scores a hat-trick to shut you all up
Ultra Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 NP would rather cut off one of his own limbs than put DJ in the side.. But perhaps if he gets a couple of goals in the reserves game, and looks like he wants to play, that may change..
Smiffy Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Don't know if its been posted or not but it seems Holloways after him again. Link
Jimmy Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 only if he makes a grovelling public apology for slagging us off
Father Ted Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 If that cocky little shite plays on Saturday he will be hurled with abuse from me.
