Max Gradel

He played football with a smile on his face and that is infectious and can make others play better and fans feel better about their club - something this place seems to need.

Risky thing to do these days!. Agree though that Solano might have been potentially helpful to him.

I think he saw it the other way round... That he wanted first team footy and Solano was signed and so it gave him even less of a chance for action here.

I think Pearson had hopes for Max. He's still young and has a lot to learn, but i personally believe Gradel has delusions of grandeur and like many young players nowadays,

think they're the mutts nuts. Good luck Max, and thanks for about 6 exciting moments, you could have learned a bit about the game. I think you've made the wrong move.

According to Max on Facebook Chat, Pearson asked him to hand a transfer request in. I'm not saying this is true, just what he said.

Ummmmmmm. I'd have said it was the perfect chance to start with Solano and use Gradel for the last half-hour. Always assuming Pearson might abandon the idea of playing makeshift wingers, an idea which Leicester City seems to have been addicted to for many years.

My son has also spoke to him tonight (on facebook) and he asked him why he was leaving, his answer was "i have to i need to think of my career" and he is not in pearsons plans at the moment :dunno:

I also spoke to him on facebook chat and he told me Oasis were the greatest band of all time.

I also spoke to him on FB chat and he was forced by Milan to hand in a transfer request after being caught porkin his mrs.

Max told me on FB chat that Kevin Barclay was forcing him out of the club because his dance moves may be replicated in the stands and cause injury.

That'd be funny if it wasn't quite so feasibly true.

If you dont want to play for Leicester Foook off simple as that!!!! we want committed players so if there heads are turned by others then there not for us there are players who want to play for leicester , Gradel isnt one of them, Gradel has served well we loved him now like Mattock the bright lights of the so called bigger club call, so I would personally drive him there if you dont wanna give commitment to the club then piss off

Gradel had sunk to FIFTH-choice right-winger (after Oakley, N'Guessan, Gallagher and Kermo), and Solano's arrival pushed him even further down the pecking order.

Is it any wonder he wants to leave?

From a Leeds fan's perspective, I can say that if we sign Max for anything less than 300k , we have got ourselves a real bargain. First and foremost , Max has hit it off with our fans in a sensational manner with his amazing performances from the bench. His dynamic style and general attitude seem to fit Grayson's standards for his team very well. He enjoyed every minute here and quite visibly , there is immense potential in this lad and he only needs to settle down somewhere and play regularly. One of those players who needs his manager to put an arm round his shoulder off the pitch and his team mates to give him the confidence and support he needs on the pitch. Everyone loves Max here and the team is built in a way that players like Max can go and do his thing every week. His potential is above league 1 IMO and we shall wait and argue about it in a couple of years time. Good luck for your season and Thanks for Max

like the guy said we want committed players who want to play 110% for the mighty foxes if max thinks hes better off elsewhere and had his head turned after he has been sent on loan then good luck to the lad.....but if he dont want to be here then i would personally drive him in my car to leeds and drop him off at the door......now thanks for the little bit of sparkle you gave us every now and again...........now piss off and i hope the grass is really greener for you on the other side !

I have to agree with you.

but as the previous posters have said - he wants to go to think of his career. more chances in the 1st team or learning from nobby. it will be interesting to see which one helps him realise his potential.
