Tomo_7 Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Max was okay last season his goal at MK Dons was undoubtly the highlight but he'll only have won 2 LEAGUE ONE trophies (when he goes to Leeds) next season he'll get frustrated at being left out at Leeds and ask for a transfer there then end up at somewhere like Yeovil and they'll think he's brilliant and buy him after a loan period and the cycle will go on and on i think.

I'm guessing it will be announced on our OS Monday. You can't expect them to work at the weekend after all the hard graft they put in during the week.

Although he never had a bad game he never quite reprodused what he was all about at Bournemouth. One of my best memories as a City fan will always be when he scored that goal in the 97th min.

Geo V Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 I compare Citys Youth to the Osbourne household, the kids end up being a bunch of useless ****ertons and Beaglehole is Ozzie, the real talented one amongst the group. Im not too sure who Sharon is but Sheehan is defo Kelly Osbourne and Jack would be tha great Louis Dodds. I must admit its getting really frustrating having a youth side that seems to beat everybody and none really come through. Its not like Man U or Liverpool have come in and poached our best players. I think the management is high quality but not neccasaily the devlopment side. Gradel is one of the few that I thought might make it and he still might but NP wouldnt sell him if he thought he was good enough. The fact that he doesnt play for Leeds much is another weird thing on Maxi.

Love to know how many kids in your school have came running to you when they're getting bullied or abused. I can understand some people behaving like you do on here but you're in your 40s (?) and a teacher? Thought you'd have more sense.

Dany can do anything Gradel can [dribble, run at players, and he's quick enough] and plus Dany got aerial abilities, which Gradel doesn't have. Dany has also scored 3 or 4 goals this season as a super sub. The main common denominator between Gradel and N'Guessan is that they are both inconsistent. If I had to chose one, I'd chose N'Guessan. Gradel, good lad as he is, is hardly Jack Wilshere in the making. He's a decent player, just like Dyer and N'Guessan are. I'd love him to stay, but I won't shed a tear if he leaves. I just hope we get a good fee for him.

Christ, its just text and mostly tongue in cheek at that! If anyone is really that sensitive that they allow a few harsh words on a keyboard to "drive them away" then they really shouldnt be on the net at all. There is a handy ignore feature the more sensitive souls on here can use if they feel so intimidated. I do think its odd you feel you can comment on someones ability to do their job based upon what you read on a football forum....

I would guess that clubs don't want to alert other teams as to what funds they may have available when negotiating incoming transfers of their own. Especially when those clubs aren't exactly rolling in it.
