Interesting that. Bringing him in as our back up to replace the injured Tunchev in the sqaud?

He can't be Championship standard if he plays for Kings Lynn surely :dunno:

Be a strange one if true.

We need a central midfielder and an actual winger if anything.

Might not be yet. But if scouts/NP see potential in him, then they might snap him up before someone else does.

Also, Morrison made the leap from non-league to football league, albeit league one, but he's still doing alright this season.

We got Morrison from the lower leagues and he doesn't look out of place in the championship

Shows how much you know about Football when you consider how successful some of the signings from non-league have been in the past 3 years.

To be fair to Mad Dog he is probably right. Morrison was one of the stand out players in the division below Football League level. I believe Kings Lynn are in fact another 2 divisions down. Not saying he can not make i sometime but that must be far too high step up straight away surely?

We also have Parkes & Bolger coming through the youth ranks. Would this guy really be any better than these 2?

Anyone who questions non league players not being able to perform at a higher level only have to look to Wolves and Peterborough.

If you actually read the article, the player in question was recently released from Doncaster. So in the general scheme of things, he's basically Parkes or Bolger with experience of playing some proper stuff.

To add, the biggest impact any player has had in recent years from non-league is Jermaine Beckford who was signed from Wealdstone who play at the same level of King's Lynn.

Kings Fuc king Lynn?

Where is the ambition of this club

Possibly looking to the future, developing young talent rather than going for older players who couldn't really care less/ got nothing to prove?

So he was not good enough for Doncaster and that makes him a better prospect than the 2 mentioned how? :dunno:

Yeah it's clear Oakley and Wellens arn't cutting the mustard. And King as back up, pah!

You never fail to amaze me.

Furthermore we have a small collection of our old boys now playing for Kings Lynn and if he's impressed them week on week then I'm sure they'll have filtered word back.

A club should always be looking to the future.

Its a choice for clubs like ourselves to either go for the unknown players from the lower leagues and develop them or go for the old premiership players e.g. Martin Keown springs to mind. I know which one I prefer. There are defiantly gems in the lower leagues and I for one trust Nigel and his team to find them!

Young players often find themselves knocking around down there, waiting to make their step up. He's a teenager, if they've seen potential it's a cheap way of possibly bringing through a first team player.

We need 1 more :P

2 players for every position suits me, we play 2 central midfielders so need 4.

I never notice King playing and Wellens has been injured so we need another.

Oakley, Wellens, King and the forgotten man Clemence and then the youth below that. We're as covered as any team in the division with that lot.
