muffin Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Look this has been coming for a long time, we dont score! No contribution from defence! no contribution from midfield! Very little from the forward line as a whole. We need an attacking (Goal scoring) midfielder in the transfer window. We need a centre forward who can score goals on a regular basis. Sell Howard, get rid of the French guy. Fook Oakley right off. Bring the wingers back. Cos at the min there is just no goals in this side. Yes took a 5-1 hammering today, but overall I am not too concerned about the defence. ITS THE OTHER END THAT'S GONNA FOOK US UP THIS SEASON. :yesyes: muffin.
MikeyT Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 DJ ! Damn it beat me to it. So thats Dickov and Campbell for Derby and Gradel for Leeds!!
Craig Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 4th. Today was bad, but it could have been worse. Back to 3rd on tuesday please.
Edmund Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 DJ's equalised for the sheep It was always inevitable. The guy scores goals at this level. Didn't even play the full 90 minutes, came off the bench for them.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Pearson out simple as, fooking crap and he's been found out. Last week against scunny. Chance after chance and now today.
samuel Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 It was always inevitable. The guy scores goals at this level. Didn't even play the full 90 minutes, came off the bench for them. [/quote Well I can only imagine Nigel Pearson isn't to fond of black players. What do they have to do to get a run with him?
Samilktray Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 It was always inevitable. The guy scores goals at this level. Didn't even play the full 90 minutes, came off the bench for them. And we still have Howard. Bizarre.
FleckneyFox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Brown, Berner and Howard were abysmal. Everyone else was bad. Everything went wrong today so theres no point going through it all. Credit to Forest a very good set of players. Tuesday cant come soon enough, hopefully 4-4-2 and a few changes in personnel.
thybluefox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Just got back from the game. We didn't turn up, its s simple as that. The whole team was terrible, 2, maybe 3 players pulled their weight, Waghorn, King and Dyer when he came on. The players I'll pick out as being stand-out-terrible would be Brown, Neilson, Oakley, Fryatt and Howard. Pearson panicked at 2 - 0 and started making changes, IMO showed he hd no faith in the team he had on the pitch, which worries me. We HAVE to win on Tuesday, or this could seriously dent our season. I'm still in shock tbh.
David Guiza Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Terrible performance today in all departments. Brown and Hobbs didn't deal with an average forward. Neilson and Berner didn't stop a cross between them, mainly from Anderson. Oakley and Wellens were nowhere for long periods of the game. I don't agree with taking Kermogant and Fryatt off for two players who have done nothing this season in Dyer and Howard. Fair enough it needed to be changed but i thought it was abit drastic, and hardly made a difference. Waghorn was the only person who looked slightly liked he wanted anything from today in my opinion. But we're still fourth and have two winnable games coming up, it will be very intersting to see our reaction to the performance today on tuesday night and against Sheffield Wednesday.
mmarkie Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Anyone hear Pearson's interview after the match? Cause I didn't and I wandered if anyone could let me know what was said. Cheers guys.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Pearson out simple as, fooking crap and he's been found out. Last week against scunny. Chance after chance and now today. I really, really, really, really, really hope you're just being 'funny' there, and not serious Leicester boss Nigel Pearson:"It was awful. We didn't start the game well and we didn't show any discipline. When you are facing local derbies it is about making sure you are focused and up for it but we lacked that and it is not a very nice thing to have to say. "It was the worst performance and worst result since I have been manager, but what I will say is that, although it doesn't make it any easier to stomach, it doesn't happen very often. "I am the manager and I take the responsibility but now it is all about how we respond. When something like this happens to you it's about getting back to basics and we'll attempt to do that on Tuesday." [at home to Bristol City]
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Actually so angry, angry, angry.Weale to slow. - new keeper please Brown could have made that ball. Berner looked unfit. Fryatt to slow. - a better centre forward with geniune pace and power. Howard past it. Dyer not good enough. - Peter Halmosi? We left on the 4th goal and the stewards said that we wasn't allowed to leave! Disgraceful. We need to sort our selves out, we have been poor in recent weeks and playing against a better team showed it. McKenna ran the midfield. Well Said Mate Couldn't have said it better totally agree ! Jus the fockin wake up call we needed iv said for ages that we wer gettin a tad lucky at times and that we carry some passengers in the squad. We neeed someone with pace and power .. we don't hav to look further than forest .. They have several .. e.g Earnshaw (wont get him) Tyson Blackstock (wnt get him) McGugan Mcgoldrick etc
Salieri Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Well I can only imagine Nigel Pearson isn't to fond of black players. What do they have to do to get a run with him? WTF? So now he's a racist as well as being a shit manager.
MC Prussian Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 I really, really, really, really, really hope you're just being 'funny' there, and not serious That's Sanchez in a nutshell, Ian - btw, nominate him as most fickle poster at the 2009 FT Awards.
David Guiza Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Anyone hear Pearson's interview after the match? Cause I didn't and I wandered if anyone could let me know what was said. Cheers guys. He said the usual. Shocking performance, can't blaim the refferee, we'll look at what went wrong and go on from there.
Koke Posted 5 December 2009 Author Posted 5 December 2009 It was always inevitable. The guy scores goals at this level. Didn't even play the full 90 minutes, came off the bench for them. He also gave the ball away so Graham Dorrans made it 2-1 in the 92nd minute And then he goes down and scores in the other end 40 seconds later.
mmarkie Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Did he say anything about making changes Tuesday?
David Guiza Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Did he say anything about making changes Tuesday? Not really. Stringer said something along the lines of nobodys shirt is safe for the Bristol City game then? And he just said correct.
samuel Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 So now he's a racist as well as being a shit manager. Spiderpig, please don't just follow me around trolling. Before Dyer came on, we didn't have a black player on show. How many Championship teams don't have black players as an integral part of the team?. I never called any one a racist, I was making an observation about the reluctance of our manager to want to encourage black players to shine at Leicester!
Tommeh Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 That was fu cking horrible, worst day in an awful long time. We didn't turn up simple as. Still 4th by a miracle as we were absolutely torn a mew arsehole today in ALL departments. Just want today over with, the txts to stop and to try an escape a mauling in uni, don't care? Yeah right ******. Just a hideus day and we are still in the changing room.
BoneDog Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 It was always inevitable. The guy scores goals at this level. Didn't even play the full 90 minutes, came off the bench for them. My thoughts exactly. Was unhappy to see him loaned out again cos if he gets the games he scores goals which is what he is paid to do.
Bugg Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 We were completely battered that game and its clear they were going to beat us, but seriously the referee was fooking abyssmal. I hope he gets made to referee Unibond premier games instead.
mmarkie Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Not really. Stringer said something along the lines of nobodys shirt is safe for the Bristol City game then? And he just said correct. Ahh right cheers mate
