samuel Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 We aare 4th in a league we have just been promoted to And that's down to Nigels mastery is it?.
lou Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 If he was racist would he have signed Dyer and N'Guessan? No he wouldn't, so stop talking out of your arse. Gradel isn't starting games for Leeds... does that make Grayson racist also? Not to mention giving DJ a second chance when most fans wanted him out. (theyre probably racist too!) He will play who he thinks is the best (whether we agree or not) on the day. I cant say I even notice what colour our players are on the day as its irrelevant to me.
samuel Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 You lot need to lose the keep the faith mantra, Nigel is a duffer. you mark my words we will be 15th or16th after Boxing day. And you will still say bringing on Howard was a great move!. Laughable!
CupidStunt Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Been at work all day,so cant really comment on the performance But it sounded like from the radios commentary, it was of those games where we had a off day, which imo, had been coming, and everything went right for forest, hence we were well beaten. Bring on the next game, see how we bounce back Always thought we might come unstuck today against an improving forest side, but not 5-1
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 And that's down to Nigels mastery is it?. "Mastery?" No. He's not a master of his art yet. If he was, he certainly wouldn't be managing Leicester, but it's more than other planks that have managed us over the years have done. What do you want? Cos I guarantee there's not a man out there who'd come to us who wouldn't make it worse.
lou Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 And that's down to Nigels mastery is it?. Ahh so its down to NP when we lose but not when we win?!
Bugg Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Camp - £100000 +Shorey - On loan (Villa paid £3m) Morgan - Youth Gunter - £1.75 million Wilson - £300,000 Cohen - £1.2m (Davies came with that) Anderson - £250000 McKenna - £750,000 Majewski - £1.5m Earnshaw - £2.65m Blackstock - £1.6m Weale - Free Berner - Free Neilson - Free Brown - £200k Hobbs - £400k King - Youth Oakley - £500k Wellens - £1m Kermorgant - Free Fryatt - £350k Waghorn - Loan Compared to us... it's expensive!! Calculated it up: Forest starting XI: £10.1million Leicester starting XI: £2.45million so yes it is expenisve compared to us!
lou Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Id just like to remind Bilo at this point that I said Forest would do well this season and had made some bloody good signings over the Summer but he didnt believe me and said they would struggle.
AoWW Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Oh my word. How old are you? So he played his best team today then?. Yo lot really do live up to the Leicester Mongols tag don't you? :crylaugh: This has just made my day. Hilarious.
Fosse Boy Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 A quick list of people who are cunts: 1. Forest (goes without saying) 2. The EDL (******) 3. The Hooters staff. Stop leading me on. If you want me to buy your chicken wings you've got to put out first. 4. Most of the Leicester team today. 5. Anyone who left our end early to spend the second half in Hooters... 6. Anyone who decided to parrot back every single thing that A Block sang in the second half. There's nothing wrong with a little self-deprecation, but it got to the point of embarrassment really. 7. Robert Earnshaw. You're not god, we were just shit. 8. The policeman who thought he was also a train ticket inspector. No one on that train had a first class ticket, who cares? 9. Anyone who considers pasty stained jeans a turn off. 10. Evolution. Harborough's newest bar, and you're not even open at 5 p.m.on a Saturday afternoon. Ridiculous. Rubbish day.
Babylon Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Id just like to remind Bilo at this point that I said Forest would do well this season and had made some bloody good signings over the Summer but he didnt believe me and said they would struggle. I've got £20 on them getting promoted each way because I was impressed with what they were investing.
lou Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 I've got £20 on them getting promoted each way because I was impressed with what they were investing. Good one! Wish Id have done that, ten million isnt a massive amount by todays standards and sadly it looks like its worked out well for them. Paul McKenna and Dexter Blackstoke especially were brilliant signings. Think theyve got a cracking manager too. I still believe in our Nigel though. It was grim today but Im still thrilled at where we are.
GLC Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Sh*t happens, we played poor and we lost simple! It had to happen at some point, shame it had to be against forest!, oh well 3 points on tuesday and things will be better
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 And that's down to Nigels mastery is it?. yes. Where were we last time we were in the championship? fighting relegation. pearson came in, turned around a sinking ship and brought us up and then sending us flying up the table. A quick list of people who are cunts:1. Forest (goes without saying) 2. The EDL (******) 3. The Hooters staff. Stop leading me on. Granno Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Very poor. Embarrasing to be honest. Carved apart by a very good team. We have to make amends on Tuesday.
Daggers Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Well. Shocking tactics. Woeful attitude. Piss poor performances. Bag of fooking wank. Upside: those of us with a vested interest in Wales will have been delighted in that goals oring performance. I love Earnshaw. Brilliant salute to the troops. Jack Hobbs owes me a frigging Big Mac meal.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Another highlight of my day was being called a willy puller by a middle aged bloke for standing up If only he was a forest fan
CosbehFox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Why does anyone in their right mind support leicester city? The same reason you support a club just one place above in the league. Very hurtful of a loss like this....I can't honestly think of a game bar the 7-1 at SJP that we've ever lost by this amount in this division. Very painful its against Forest but there we go. For every good day (there's been a few lately), there's a bad around the corner. Espically for a club of our status. I just hope it's a very powerful tool in the learning curve of Pearson who makes the odd error from time to time. It's clear to see there are squad problems....but I am pretty sure we'd have probably tried to sort them out in the Summer. However, when you are a club who have just come up (Ask Forest and Wednesday fans) for many players, there will always be a bit of fear in signing for a newly promoted side. Always identified December as a difficult spell for us, if we get to January in and around the playoffs. The opportunity to improve the squad will be available. Poetic nature is all these (same) idiots, they have no real answer to league position. We are 4th, we punching above the expectation of the club as it was at the start of the season. If they ultimate performance, support a big four club.
Lovejoy Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 2nd best both on and off the pitch. Gotta be honest the City support was shite today, outsung by the home fans even before the onslaught.
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 2nd best both on and off the pitch. Gotta be honest the City support was shite today, outsung by the home fans even before the onslaught. really? From what i saw they were 4 up before their fans started to make any noise.
Lovejoy Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 really? From what i saw they were 4 up before their fans started to make any noise. They weren't great, but the City fans were poor. It seems the entire section is unable to sing as one, there are scatterings of people here and there doing their own thing.
Shrenchel Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 really? From what i saw they were 4 up before their fans started to make any noise. What game were you at? They absolutely raped us. It wasnt until they were pasting us on the pitch that the other stands started joining in with the ****s on the left, but lets be honest, we wouldnt have all 4 sides of our ground singing if we were 6-0 up in the champions league semi-final.
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 They weren't great, but the City fans were poor. It seems the entire section is unable to sing as one, there are scatterings of people here and there doing their own thing. still better than at the walkers. if it weren't for my appauling away record (peterboro last season & today) i might think about giving up the home games and just making the away trips. as it is i'll stay at the walkers.
