Booing your own team

I shall always boo a bad performance and NP deserves the sack atm, the bloke has been found out for what he is. Ok you lose 5-1 to forest on saturday bad enough but your got a game tuesday at home to a side who haven't won in fooking ages ... and you lose 3-1 !! He's done fook all about the way to go about it.

I felt like waiting outside the walkers and giving him a piece of my mind and i fooking will if we lose on saturday. Right to the muppets face and tell him to quit.

Please do that next time, and when you're done never fucking return to the Walkers again. People like you are cancer to our club.

And when we have turned this bad form around and are cruising again, you'll be on your knees with just a pretty mouth, semi-open, and your gums caressing Nigel's bellend.

Off to my Ignore list you go.

Yes, and my opinion is that you're a total cunt who will have Nige's cock in your mouth once we're doing well again.

Mature of you

We have droped out the play offs and we're on are way down. We have been found out, he's sent our 2 best strikers out on loan to Derby ffs

I will give him a piece of my mind if we lose saturday.

You think they're our 2 best???

They did fuck all here over 2 seasons. Fryatt's our best striker, hence him being 4th top scorer in the league dickweed.

Obviously Dickov has had his time but I wouldn't dis credit Campbell. Say what you like about him he's a proven goal scorer at this level. FACT

Pearson causes the problem in Campbell - anywhere he goes he scores goals - same with Max - Pearson don't like em, they know that.. there's little point in getting either back to play under Pearson cos they dont want to... Gradel is flying high at Leeds and is loving it...Grayson loves him too....

No he aint, he's had half a good season at Blackpool, besides that he's scoring record at this level is shit.

Really? I would like to see that. I wonder who would give you a kicking first - NP or any number of genuine fans milling around you. You really are an imbecile!!

How do you explain him being shit since weve had him here then? Pearson hasnt always been the manager

Oh quick extract from an interview by Radio Leicester with DJ.......

"All I said was I had no future," Campbell told BBC Radio Leicester.

"It was not that I didn't want to come back but at the time things weren't working out but I'm back now and I'm pleased to be back.

"It's been a bit frustrating not being involved but now I'm involved I'm happy. I spoke to the gaffer and he's been great to me.

"The time hasn't been good here. Most of the time I've been injured and when I have been fit I haven't been fully match fit so I haven't played.

"When I have played, I haven't played to my best and obviously the club and fans haven't seen the real DJ Campbell."

Yeah sounds like him and NP really dont get on

Got a viable alternative then?

Fans booing and cheering: We cheer on a player to congratulate them when they are playing well, when they are not playing so well we will try and motivate them, sing their names and call things out from the side. When this doesn't work we shout abuse and start booing.

The fans have a massive influence on players and in terms of motivation we can be as influential as a manager, at half time against Forest and Brizzle I'm sure everyone was muttering I hope Nigel gives them a rollicking at half time. I know I was. Likewise after the match, I was thinking they deserve the hairdryer treatment from Nigel.

So what difference is it if it is us doing the rollicking, when we boo what we are expressing is all the things we want to say to the players. Brown stop backing off. King get more involved. Oakley take control of the game play the simple pass and work an opening etc,

As the fans we can see these problems and it is frustrating when we see the same players make the same mistakes over and over again, but the only way to express this is to boo. We cannot have a quiet 1 to 1 with the players and point out mistakes. This is the job of the coaching staff and when we still see the same mistakes week in week out we get more frustrated and boo more.

So do we have the right to boo our players? Yes.

Can it be counter-productive? Sometimes yes, other times it can bring to light problems. I will never forget the infamous Sheff united game after MON's disastrous start here. If I recall correctly some fans were actually selected to go and talk to the coaching staff.

After that game the players turned it around and were fired up and the rest is history.

Should we boo the team at the moment? In general no we have an average squad and have over performed so far this season, we have not been "found out" nor have we "given up" it is just there are a number of better teams in the league.

One thing I will not accept in a Leicester team is a lack of passion. If the players look disinterested then I think they deserve to be told that this is not acceptable. If we are beaten by the better side, but put up a fight like against Newcastle then there will never be any complaints from me. I have not seen the last 2 matches so I cannot comment on whether booing was just or fair. I will say that we don't expect our team and management to take a beating, like against forest, without any sort of reaction, so why should the fans? If NP should blast them for the performance then maybe we should too. If the players were sat in the dressing room afterwards saying "Yeah but we're still 4th so nothing to worry about." then I would be livid.

The problem is that booing offers nothing constructive. If I was told at work my performance was poor and I was told why, I would work hard to rectify the situation, but if I had been trying my best and someone just said that's shit without any constructive criticism it would demotivate me.

The solution: Motivational chanting, something along the lines.

"Come on Leciester, show us your pride"

"We know you're better than this"

"Pearson gee them up, Pearson , Pearson, gee them up"

"If you play like this again we will kidnap your dog until you play better!"

Or even a rousing rendition of:

"Get in to 'em! **** 'em up"

Ok the chants are work in progress I have a lot on my mind at the moment and should really be doing other things than waffling on the internet, but my point is we have a right to express our frustration, but we only have a few methods of doing it:

Booing

Chanting "Pearson out!" "You're not fit to wear the shirt!"

Staying silent

Walking out

All of the above are counter productive so lets get some motivational chants going. Ideas here:

Edit: Comgratulations to anyone who made it to the end of the post sometimes I have too many thoughts t once and it all comes out in a bit of a mess, lack of sleep and too much beer doesn't help.

So even though you've paid money to SUPPORT them, you'd still boo them and dash their confidence even more??

Tell me, do you go to a match to support your team or boo your team?

Yes we go to support them, but if they are complete sh*t and we have spent about £50 - £100 that game then why not boo?

They take our money off of us and give us a bad performance or two then why not boo?

Tell me, did you go to Nottingham Forest?

It's impractical for me to do so.

Becuase you try and tell me not to boo the team and then you didn't even witness it.

I'd go carefully with that one - you don't have much to begin with.

Superb. :crylaugh:

that level of detail leads me to believe that youve thought about that a little too much! ;)lol

I booed on tuesday? Slate me if you like I couldn't give a shit. I'd sa 75% of the fans....that were left did. If I put no effort into my 9-5 job and produced substandard work I would get a rollocking from my boss.

Same principle
