Didn't want to bother him though You should have shown him the free route planner back to Manchester Alternately a picture of Mike Whitlow, as an example of what can be achieved by a player with minimal skill, but plenty of effort.

I'll bet anyone that McGivern will go on to have a decent career as a centre back at Championship level.

Whether you're his pal, his brother or whatever, Babs is quite capable of defending himself and you can bet your life he'll expect to if he's provocative enough to lay the landmines in the first place.

Sheehan was not only second in our Championship assists table he scored two goals, was seventh in our shooting chart, ahead of Oakley, Hayles, Laczko and was by far the club's most dangerous set piece specialist. McGivern has scored no goals, had no assists, just the one shot on target, two shots off target and is talking about playing for Manchester City in the Premiership- as they aspire to be one of the best teams in the world! We no longer have a set piece specialist at all and, on our other flank we have Neilson instead of Stearman. McGivern is a back-up and will get better but he lacks pace so IMO will never be better than Champs standard but he is a decent option for us when BB is injured. For a more accurate record I'd say Mattock has other things on his mind apart from football. As for McGivern I'll believe anything you say about his ability when I see some evidence of it.
