Oh well, I wasn't too keen on Neilson but he's improved slightly recently - Still not 100% sold on him but he's acceptable now, I hope the same happens with McGivern.

Amazing clearance that was.Sorry for going off-topic but it's bugging me trying to remember who it was It was Gary Mills, Gabbiadini flicked it over Muggs and Mills (class) somehow booted it over the bar. I thought McGivern did ok yesterday, slow start, but got much better as the game went on.

On securing Martyn's services until the end of the season, Nigel Pearson said: "We have agreed to extend it for the rest of the season and that will be when the current loan deal expires." "It will be with the same criteria as the original loan, because it is a youth loan and it gives Sunderland a 24-hour recall option. I would rather have the player available than not." "He is enjoying it here and we are delighted to have him. Sunderland have been on the scouting list for a lot of our games."
