Hes definately getting better - which is a good thing all round

Very true. But i'd still rather see Bruno Berner at left back any day.

Still not overly impressed with him, I was hoping we wouldn't renew his loan deal but we have.

Oh well, I wasn't too keen on Neilson but he's improved slightly recently - Still not 100% sold on him but he's acceptable now, I hope the same happens with McGivern.

Maybe if he was our player I'd have a lot more patience but he isn't.

Sorry but what a bollocks attitude that is.... while hes wearing our kit and playing our games hes our player

With Berner out injured I thought it was necessary to renew McGivern's loan.

Was it Richard Smith who also did the goal-line clearance? Amazing clearance that was.

Sorry for going off-topic but it's bugging me trying to remember who it was :D

It was Gary Mills, Gabbiadini flicked it over Muggs and Mills (class) somehow booted it over the bar.

I thought McGivern did ok yesterday, slow start, but got much better as the game went on.

people are being overly harsh on mcgivern imo

decent young player. i'd like to know who they'd rather have playing when berner can't play.

Chris Powell by far.

McGivern didn't do too bad again yesterday. I think he's beginning to find his feet.

As soon as he begins to 'get match fit' Berner will push him out the team ;)

The fact that he is match fit, yet people deny the fact he is improving, and blame it on his fitness level.

But he isn't/wasn't match fit, where did he gain this match fitness? Yes he is improving that is down to number of things one of which is match fitness.

Either way hardly worthy of :crylaugh:

Leicester City and Sunderland have today (Tuesday) agreed to extend Martyn Waghorn's loan move, which will see him play for the Foxes until the end of the season.

The news of Waghorn's extended stay at the Walkers Stadium will be pleasing for the fans who have taken to the striker, since his arrival in the summer.

On securing Martyn's services until the end of the season, Nigel Pearson said: "We have agreed to extend it for the rest of the season and that will be when the current loan deal expires." "It will be with the same criteria as the original loan, because it is a youth loan and it gives Sunderland a 24-hour recall option. I would rather have the player available than not."

"He is enjoying it here and we are delighted to have him. Sunderland have been on the scouting list for a lot of our games."

"For a player of his age from a Premiership club this is a good experience for him. Both clubs benefit because he is getting vital experience and we have the services of a player who has a lot of potential."

Waghorn has scored five goals for the Foxes so far this season.

Don't know if its been already posted. Thats from the OS.

That's Waghorn who has signed.

Not McGivern.

I just took Waghorn out of the topic title because that's now in the LCFC forum.
