maddog Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner N'Guessan King Wellens Dyer Waghorn Kermo Subs: Howard, Logan, Neilson, Oakley, Fryatt, Gallagher, McGivern. Pretty crucial we at least get Gradel and Dj back ASAP. We are so short of options especially in midfield if players like Oakley, Wellens and King start to play badly. And Nicky Adams should never have been loaned out again, a very bad decision by NP, he's made a few recently. If we can't get the loanees back we need to sign new players on loan because we are looking so weak all round really. There needs to be a few more players to provide some competition for places, so many players are playing badly but are picked week in week out.
deep blue Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 To address the lack of speed in our performances, it would be interesting to try out O'Neill and Dyer at full back, with N'Guessan and Gradel on the wings. O'Neill is a risk because perceived as not ready, but given another chance youngsters sometimes progress and improve more quickly than expected. Dyer is also a risk as it's an experimental position for him, but I think his defensive contribution has improved recently, and at least his speed would enable him to recover from errors. At the end of the day, would they be much more of a risk defensively than the current full backs? We could then have a game plan of taking the game to the opposition more than we appear to have done of late.
clazkel Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs PowellGradel Oakley King DyerFryatt Waghorn
ob1kanobe0 Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 I'd like to see campbell return. I wouldn't risk berner. I'd rest fryatt and wellens. Im more interested in atleast sustaining our league position than trying to win the fa cup, even if man u and liverpool are out, we'll only get upset when we lose eventually anyroad. Win or bust, no replay, we can't cope. We might aswell play to excite. -----------------weale ---neilson--morrison--hobbs -------------oakley--king n'guesson----------------------dyer ----------------gallagher -----------campbell--howard
David Guiza Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Asuming Gradel is back and Berner is fit. Weale Cox, deserves a game in his right position Hobbs Morrison Berner Oakley Wellens King Gradel Howard Waghorn Logan, Neilson, Brown, N'Guessan, Dyer, Fryatt, Gallagher.

Simo86 Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 We got to try something different, else our season is going to peter out.Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Dyer Gradel King Wellens Yussuf/John/Schlupp Waghorn Kermorgant Dyer at LB He can't mark and struggles to tackle most of the time. Asuming Gradel is back and Berner is fit.Weale Cox, deserves a game in his right position Hobbs Morrison Berner Oakley Wellens King Gradel Howard Waghorn Logan, Neilson, Brown, N'Guessan, Dyer, Fryatt, Gallagher. I think you mean O'Neil, we don't have a player called cox on the books anymore. I'd go for: Weale Morrison McGivern Hobbs Brown Gradel N'Guessan Wellens Oakley Fryatt Waghorn Subs- Howard, Pentney, Gallagher, O'Neil, Berner(if fit), King, Kermorgant
lou Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Dyer at LB He can't mark and struggles to tackle most of the time. so no worse than who weve had at LB for a while then?
Simo86 Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 so no worse than who weve had at LB for a while then? Good point! But Dyer wouldn't stay there he'd go wondering and end up at right back
suffolk fox Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Really can't believe certain people are asking for DJ to come back to us and start!!! Blimey the man is Crap! Also find it unbelievable people are suggesting McGivern to start in Central defence? Nowt wrong with the front two of Fryatt and Howard. Just hope Mr Pearson doesn't meddle too much with team selection. Why he started Kermogant against Swansea last week and drop Howard I just don't know? Howard scored in the previous match against Ipswich. Bring Wellens back, King, Oakley, Wellens in the middle Fryatt, Howard up front. Back four of Powell Hobbs Morrison Berner ( Hope he is fit) Playing just behind front two dropping off either NGuessan or Waghorn.

BrummieFOX Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Where is everyone drinking before the game? I've been advised to train it to Cardiff Central, drink in the centre and walk from their (25minute walk).
