watching things like glasto on the tele and having been to gigs and festivals before it always makes me wonder what it is with people obsessing over getting to the front. the front 4 or 5 rows always looks dead compared to about 10 people deep. that's where all the real cool kids hang.

Anybody else who went last week think this seems dead tame compared to Vicky park? I know it's on TV and everything so you don't get the full atmosphere but the crowd just seems dead flat

Why?

No idea. All the bands have to give permission for the BBC to show their sets, Massive Attack said no for some reason.

 

Apparently next years headliners have already been booked, one of them is a group with a british singer and non-british band. Struggling to think who that may be.

fleetwood mac is all i can come up with. 

 

 

disclosure didn't disappoint with their set, first ed from friendly fires, then eliza doolittle then aluna. fúcking yeh.

Got Global Gathering on Friday. Disappointed they've tried to cram most of the music on the Saturday which will mean a lot of clashes.

Anyone going to the leicester music festival at the tigers stadium ? The stage backs on to my work so i can listen for free :)  , the guy on the door reckons they've only sold 5000 tickets
