Saturday, 6 March 2010 Blackpool v Ipswich, 15:00 Bristol City v Doncaster, 15:00 Cardiff v Middlesbrough, 15:00 Crystal Palace v Sheff Utd, 15:00 Derby v Watford, 15:00 Newcastle v Barnsley, 15:00 Nottm Forest v Swansea, 15:00 Peterborough v Coventry, 15:00 Plymouth v Preston, 15:00 QPR v West Brom, 15:00 Sheff Wed v Leicester, 15:00
LCFC-ARAB Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Massive weekend for teams fighting for a playoff spot
Guest Bilo Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Forest v Swansea is a big one in the play-off picture. A draw in that one and a win for us would put us 4th on goal difference and within touching distance of third place. A Forest win would give us breathing space over Swansea and a Swansea win would leave both of us breathing down Forest's neck, with them looking to have very fragile nerves. A win for us could be huge whatever the result at the City Ground. Cardiff v Middlesbrough is quite a biggie as well. Cardiff win would put Boro further out of the play-off picture, and failure for Cardiff to win would make our play-off place that bit more comfortable.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 I actually fancy Swansea to at least get a draw from that. Probably fairly good odds too for a win. Really want Posh to win as well for once.
milan_foxes Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 IMO we'll win against the Wednesday, so we'll be gaining points on a few teams at least.
Matt Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Aslong as we win, other teams can do what they like, obviously it's nice to have results go our way but aslong as win i'm not overly bothered.
Edmund Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Perfect timing to play Wednesday. They suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat yesterday and with them playing at home fighting for survival I can't see them just sitting back and settling for the point.
Corky Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Next week will be very tough, an early goal will help. Get the crowd on the Wednesday players' backs.
Austin Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 It'll be a tough game I reckon .. as said in previous post they took a hammering, they'll have a point to prove! .. Fingers crossed for a city win
Bert Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 We're so badly not going to beat Wednesday. We've just battered Forest 3-0. They've just been thumped 5-0. This does indicate that we'll be full of confidence and they won't, but it doesn't work like that with us. We can't win 2 games on the bounce for anything. The last time we played at Hillsborough we won. We'll take the lead and lose 2-1.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Hopefully Warnock will be at QPR by next Sat and he might be able to mastermind a win against the baggies pegging them back slightly....

Bert Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 You mean how we couldn't beat Doncaster and then Forest? Clearly meant 3
Shrenchel Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 I'm not all the confident for some reason. Envisaging some kind of shit draw.
C-man Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Clearly meant 3 But yes, I agree. Not particularly positive but they may surprise us.
StanSP Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Expecting a difficult match. Won't be pretty to watch. 1-0 to us though.
Ozwin Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 We battered them at the Walkers, don't see why we can't do the same again at their place.
Scow Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 Clearly meant 3 Leicester 2-0 Crystal Palace Reading 0-1 Leicester QPR 1-2 Leicester
jonthefox Posted 28 February 2010 Posted 28 February 2010 I'm not all the confident for some reason. Envisaging some kind of shit draw. Agreed. Every time you think city are going on a free scoring run, they subject you to a shyte bore draw , so 0-0 for me.

The last time we played at Hillsborough we won. We'll take the lead and lose 2-1. it's not just us. The story of this Championship season so far seems to be: bang in form team meets bang out of form team. Outcome? Nailed on unsurprising surprise win for out of form team. May as well place a fiver on a Wednesday win, that way you can't lose. Sort of.
Spiritwalker Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 The first goal will be very important, they will be determined to make up for the beating they've just had but if we can score first their confidence will go and the crowd might turn on them.
demon_dog Posted 3 March 2010 Posted 3 March 2010 No need to worry folks, the script is already written. Just before the Cup Final last weekend 5 Live reported that a fox was walking around on the pitch. Clearly one of our scouts checking the pitch out ready for the play off final.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 3 March 2010 Posted 3 March 2010 Aslong as we win, other teams can do what they like, obviously it's nice to have results go our way but aslong as win i'm not overly bothered. THIS! I really hope we get the win... just have a horrid feeling we might end up blowing it against them.
