I'm likely to be late for tomorrow's game - what's the latest you've arrived for a home match?

Erm probably 2.55ish at home, not really sure.

No, actually Forest away this season, We got there about 3.05pm, because the Police were slow escorting us from the pub to the ground and we missed KO.

I don't mind the odd person, on the odd occasion, but it does piss me off when the same people are always late, coming in at the same time most week at about 3.05pm, end up blocking your view while they stand on the steps dithering about looking for their seat, bearing in mind the people that do it around me on a whole are season ticket holders and sit in their seats every couple of weeks, yet they still have to look/check their season ticket book as to where they sit.

I came late for the Chelsea cup game few years ago at Stamford Bridge, and I missed McAuley's goal.

I regularly miss the kick-off but never more than the first couple of minutes. I can honestly say I've never missed a goal or anything or major importance anyway.

While you were all enjoying the 4-0 thumping of Posh, I sat in Sainsburys petrol forecourt waiting for the recovery truck.

I seem to remember me and Nick being stuck in the bar for some match this season and missing almost all of the game. Buggered if I remember which, far too pissed.

Rolled up at Yeovil away last season 20 minutrs in, that was special.

Was also 5 minutes late at Hillsborough due to a tram mix up and missed KO against Bristol City for staying an ambitious length in the pub. Becoming more frequent certainly.

Made five minutes late once by mother

Also I've had my car registration number read out over the tannoy at Filbert St telling me that my car alarm was continuously going off and could I go and turn it off... it was parked in Wilberforce St :(

I've always wanted to shout 'THATS MY CAR' like the advert a few years ago when that gets called.

For the first home match of the season the other year against Ipswich. Was just coming through the turnstyle as Kisnorbo scored.

Making the kick off at away games is a rarity for me

I think we're just too pissed the remember the start of the game most of the time. Only begin to sober up about thirty minutes in...

Bristol City at home this season. arrived just in time to see their first goal go in after finishing work in London at 5 and legging it up the M1 :(

I missed, I think, the first 9 minutes of the Preston game earlier this season. I was in London during the morning, and it was touch and go whether I could make the earlier train, so had booked the later one knowing I would miss kick off. As it happened, I got to St Pancras with plenty of time. I tried to get my train back to Leicester changed to an earlier one, and despite my Oscar winning performance, the heartless tossers wouldn't go for my sob story of my dying, elderly relative.

And yes, I did try it.

Ouch, bet you wish you hadn't bothered, I live just outside Leicester and left home at 7pm and wish I hadn't bothered turning up to that game.

You missed the entire match because of a police escort?

Can't recall missing the start of a match before.

Will be late for the Reading home match though, probably by 15-20 minutes.

What made it even worse was that I had to be in work again at 4.45 am the next morning :D
