FoxyPV Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Surely the club realise they dont belong in the Prem and the fact that he took them up there is a credit to him and the team. They now have some extra cash and parachutes to look forward to so they can continue to build and try again. Hull are completely dependant on PL survival for financial survival as they are in a financial mess so i think that they feel they need to gamble heavily to try and ensure they stay in the PL.
shen Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Hull are completely dependant on PL survival for financial survival as they are in a financial mess so i think that they feel they need to gamble heavily to try and ensure they stay in the PL. Question is if it's really that 'heavy' a gamble Odds are a new manager won't have much effect at this point, but then again the prospects of survival under Brown seemed just as slim if not worse...
Babylon Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 IAIN DOWIE?!?!?!?!? What is it with these shitty premier league teams like Hull and Burnley hiring crap managers?... Most league one teams wouldn't have touched Laws and Dowie with a barge pole. Why on earth do they believe they are good enough to manage in the premier?
Wycombe Fox Posted 17 March 2010 Author Posted 17 March 2010 I Dont imagine they would find someone of any real quality who would be willing to take the Job. You were right. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/8571513.stm
Darkzzz_ Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Although he looks like he has been smacked around the face with a big cheesy cock he is actually quite a nice guy, I met him once and yes, he is even uglier in real life. *Edited for the minors.
Simi Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Iain Dowie in for another short stint at a Premiership club that will inevitably be relegated, seems like the right time of year...
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 I want the money, the money and the cars, the cars and the clothes, the hoes, I suppose. I just wanna be, I just wanna be PHIL BROWWWN.
BlueSi13 Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Desperate. Ciao Hull. I actually didn't mind them in the Premier aswell.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Never rated Dowie, never will. They'll be going downfor sure now.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 Very good news! Hate seeing crappy clubs taking up spaces in the Premiership, it's only a matter of time before they get relegated now! Hopefully we'll be there next year to show them how it's done properly... staying up that is!
Koke Posted 17 March 2010 Posted 17 March 2010 I want the money, the money and the cars, the cars and the clothes, the hoes, I suppose. I just wanna be, I just wanna be PHIL BROWWWN. I chuckled.
MPH Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 You were right. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/8571513.stm My predictions are always right....
lcfcsnow Posted 18 March 2010 Posted 18 March 2010 Surprised by his record actually, not as bad as I thought it was. 53% win rate at QPR and was given the boot.
