Simo86 Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 What does everyone think the team will be against Reading? Is it the right time to rest a few players due to our busy schedule or would you carry on with the same starting XI? I would go for: Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner(if fit) Spearing King Wellens N'Guessan Waghorn Dyer Subs: Logan, McGivern, Brown, Adams, Oakley, Gallagher, Howard
martyn Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Difficult to gauge what we should do really. Half the side looked absolutely out on their feet by the end of Sunday's game but then again, with 3 tricky away matches coming up fast then we really need to go all out for the 3 points here. Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner (McGivern) Spearing Wellens King Dyer Gallagher Waghorn Subs: Oakley, Kermorgant, N'Guessan, Adams, Brown, Vaughan, Logan
Mikey Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 I think it will be the same team, with Bruno coming in for McGivern. I think Spearing will come on as a sub though for Oakley at some point.

RowlattsFox Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Weale Solano (if his legs are ok) Morrison Hobbs Berner (if fit) Wellens King Gallagher N'Guessan Waghorn Dyer Subs: Logan, McGivern, Brown, Spearing, Oakley, Adams, Kermogant
ousefox Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Have to agree with the first post. N'Guessan deserves a run in the first team. Don't get me wrong, I like Gally but N'Guessan is a totally different player and didn't deserve to be dropped after the Blackpool game.

Gallagher has been in some good form but he looked shattered on sunday in the 2nd half which is why i'd give him a rest
mmarkie Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs© Brown McGivern Spearing Wellens King N'Guessan Waghorn Dyer Give a few players a rest.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Wellens King Oakley N'Guessan Waghorn Dyer Subs: Logan, Howard, Spearing, Solano, Adams, McGivern, Gallagher
mmarkie Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 at you all dropping Oakley. No chance. Not exactly dropping him, just resting him.
Ash Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner N'Guessen King Wellens Dyer Wag Gallagher
The Doctor Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Weale Neilson (whatever you may think of him the defence looks better with Morrison at CB than with brown and i doubt solano is fit enough to play many games in quick succession leaving it down to neilson or one of the academy players) Morrison Hobbs Berner Wellens King Oakley Dyer N'Guessan Vaughan (If fit) Subs: Logan, Brown, McGivern, Spearing, Gallagher, Waghorn, Kermorgant.
Karljohn Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Would like to see N'Guessan feature, Spearing will maybe get half an hour or so and hopefully beat Oakley and Wellens goal tally for the season. Weale Solano Morro Hobbs Berner Oakley Wellens King Dyer Kermo?? Waghorn Subs Gallagher, Nielson, N'Guessan, Spearing, Howard, Mcgivern, Brown.
Edmund Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 I expect Brown to come in for Solano. This, plus Berner if fit.
ousefox Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Neilson (whatever you may think of him the defence looks better with Morrison at CB than with brown and i doubt solano is fit enough to play many games in quick succession leaving it down to neilson or one of the academy players) I would rather have Brown in the team than Neilson any day of the week. He is the only permanent signing i would think Nige regrets. Hasn't played for months and will hopefully never play for us again. Wouldn't be suprised if he leaves by mutual consent in the summer.

Jimmy Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 hopefully it'll be the team we intended to play Sunday, just read on the BBC website it'll be Oakley's 100th league game for us
MC Prussian Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Starting line-up will hopefully include the Bruno, so: Weale Berner Brown Hobbs Morrison Dyer Wellens King Oakley Gallagher Waghorn Subs: Logan, McGivern, Solano, Spearing, Adams, Kermorgant, Vaughan

He's contributed much more than Kermo has this season.
Shrenchel Posted 23 March 2010 Posted 23 March 2010 Not that I know much about his match fitness etc but I'd be tempted to bash Spearing straight in there if he's looking fresh.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 March 2010 Posted 24 March 2010 I'm actually going to this. Weale Solano Morrison Hobbs Berner Wellens King SpearingN'Guessan Waghorn Dyer
