If it wasn't linked to the football and there was pride in wearing the flag or displaying it more often then it might not have been linked to the small minority of idiots, but its been that way for so long I doubt it will ever change. One of the main reasons is very frew people seem to be proud to be english and are only too quick to knock their own country its something uniquely english and its something I dont understand as we have so much to be proud of. I blame the weather.
