Babylon Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Wow Pacquiao Margarito. It don't get much better than that. Un-frickin-believable. Amazing fight... Glad I didn't bother with the Haye fight and just set my alarm for this fight. How Pacquiao can keep up that work rate is unbelievable, did he actually miss with a punch? Margarito ended up looking like a boxer out of 'Fight Night Round 3' when you give them a good shoeing.
Samilktray Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Margarito probably regrets taking the piss out of Freddie Roach's Parkinsons now.

Yeah I felt robbed paying for the Haye fight but I'm happy I got to see the Groves Anderson fight on the undercard, that was very good. What a guy Pacquiao is! Not sure how he kept that up for most of the fight but he's obviously a prime example of a human being in perfect shape. Super fit and powerful. Margarito had a good high guard but Pacquiao just kept powering punches straight through the middle of it. And from all other angles aswell. I kept getting worried when he stayed on the ropes a few times but the pundits said he was probably just having a rest. Leaning on the ropes and getting pummeled by Margarito is not my idea of a rest but it shows how confident Manny was if that's the case! I think Pacquiao stopped enjoying hitting him when he started looking to the ref in the 11th and wanted the ref to stop it which would of been the right thing to do really cos Margarito looked very hurt. That fight is definitely in the all time greats that I've ever seen. Up there with Hagler Hearns Duran and all them. Fascinating. Margarito probably regrets taking the piss out of Freddie Roach's Parkinsons now. Yeah and he called Pacquiao a bitch about 20 times on 24/7. Can't believe they uploaded that video to Youtube! I've not seen it but it sounds a bit of a stupid and disrespectful thing to do.
Samilktray Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Looking forward to Amir Khan on December 11th I think it is, now. Gotta up his game now hes fighting in Vegas.
lcfc_jme Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Vitali wants Haye. Looks as though Haye has no room left to run away. Apparently Vitali will fight him anywhere in the world and give him a 50% cut of the purse. Lets see if Haye actually wants it as much as he says he does..

If that really is the offer then Haye will snap it up. The Klitschkos were playing hard ball not so long back so it's good to hear that they really do want him now. Haye's got to get this mandatory mickey-mouse defence out of the way then we should see this one set up.
Leicfox Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 I reckon i could officailly knock Audley Harrison out....
ramboacdc Posted 16 November 2010 Posted 16 November 2010 I reckon i could officailly knock Audley Harrison out.... just make sure that ONE PUNCH LANDED doesnt come too keen mate and i think you can too. hell my daughter could.
Unit Posted 16 November 2010 Posted 16 November 2010 Anyone seen this http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3229460/Moments-before-Audley-Harrison-hit-the-canvas-did-David-Haye-call-Now.html ? Have to admit it is a bit strange
Raj Posted 18 November 2010 Posted 18 November 2010 Anyone seen this http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3229460/Moments-before-Audley-Harrison-hit-the-canvas-did-David-Haye-call-Now.html ? Have to admit it is a bit strange What a load of cock. sure Ordinary was crap butt his is just a case of DH goading him ala Muhammad Ali used to(No way am i saying DH is even fit to lace Alis shoelaces, but its the sort of thing Ali would do) As in"THIS is the punch that is gonna finish you" and he's show the crowd before landing on on his opponents chin!
BoneDog Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Is anyone watching Froch Abraham on Saturday? It's on Primetime so you have to pay but it should be worth it. There's some good fighters on the undercard aswell by the sounds of it.
Matt Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Anyone seen the GR8 Britain v The World on Sky Box Office, 11th December? 8 Title Fights, including Amir Khan's Vegas Debut, and Wladimir Klitschko v Dereck Chisora. Not sure i'll buy it, i'll see how many of my mates are intresting in chipping in, I've sworn in the past never to buy a Khan fight again, one way or the other it ends early and not worth the money but the Klitschko v Chisora fight may have sold it to me. Liverpool to Las Vegas via Germany.
BoneDog Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 Good first round in the Helenius Levin fight. More punches in 30 seconds than 2 rounds of Haye Harrison. Obviously!
BoneDog Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 Good heavyweight fight that. Both looked dangerous.
BoneDog Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 They're showing the replay of the last 4 rounds of Froch Kessler on Primetime and I forgot how good this fight was. It's better than Rocky IV.
City_4_Life Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 Great fight from Froch, dominated from start to finish.
MPH Posted 27 November 2010 Posted 27 November 2010 Got to admit, Froch is a fighter i have never really been impressed with. Sure he could punch but i always thought he was wrather limited. in his boxing ability. But that was awesome. scintilating performance.... Arthur Abraham is an amazing puncher but Carl made him look ordinary. What a game plan from Carl Froch....
Finnegan Posted 1 December 2010 Posted 1 December 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/9247061.stm "Both styles of feinting and moving was off-setting the both of us in the first two rounds and I was just zoning in on his rhythm when he got through," said Harrison. "I give David credit as I never expected him to hurt me as he did, but anyone could see it was a premature stoppage and I should have been allowed to carry on and ride out the rough patch, even if that meant I would have got knocked out." Oh Audley.
Fox You Forest Posted 1 December 2010 Posted 1 December 2010 Who's going to fight him now? Williams or Skelton...
BoneDog Posted 10 December 2010 Posted 10 December 2010 Just booked tomorrow nights boxing, canna wait it looks like it'll be a top show. Gutted that Klitschko Chisora is cancelled though, I was intrigued as to what was gonna happen there. I like Maidana but hope Khan wins, I love that guy and can't understand why some folk in England seem to hate him. He always seems to show respect and just gets on with his job like a true professional. Nothing to hate in my opinion and some of the comments I've read in other places just boil down to prejudice as far as I can tell.

Well said about Khan chap, probably the most exciting British boxer around.
