I think they think we're getting their captain.

Might be wrong.

The 'Captain Posh' is the fellas username, i'm so coufused i'm going to bed.

I'm confused, they think they're getting pearson? Or us getting their manager as assistant?

They think Craig Mackail Smtih (cms) is signing for us.

In Pearson's post match interview he did praise CMS IIRC, said he was a handful and never gave the defence a second. Didn't think much of it really but I suppose he doesn't normally name players after games does he? Maybe there's something there I ono.

We made a loan bid for him in January, so maybe...

Fuckin brill day out.

Sun, Beer, A Leicester win, A pretty good Grand National win what more could you want?!?!?!

Just got home after a joke from the national rail - Well not their fault tbf, inconsiderate bastards committing suicide (presumably)! Then too the pub for a few Fruli's.

Not the best of games but i've always said Result > Performance.

All the other games that effected us results went our way. Just 1 more win I reckon :fc:

have you noticed that everytime steve howard scores he always runs and puts his hand in the air, why does he do this?

That's how Shearer celebrated to, no?

Yesterday was great; great result, great company, I would like to thank LCFC for the win, and everyone else I saw yesterday who contributed to a great day out (too many to name). Bonus is, I don't even have alcoholitis today!!

Well everything went perfectly for us today, good to see us winning ugly again. Hopefully the same next week, because if blackpool and borough lose next week and we win then its play off spot secured :).

I only listened to the game on the radio but that report seems in stark contrast to what i heard, and indeed what the majority of posters on here have said.

I don't think we were 'superb' by any stretch of the imagination, a great result no doubt, but one (in a game of few chances) that could have gone either way.

Everyone (bar King) getting a 9 or 10 rating?! Bizarre. (perhaps you're being 'ironic' or summat and its gone over my head)!

Think he lives in spain. We deserved the win though.

The clue is in my details, 'leafy north London' gives it away.

Actually my home is in Southern Spain but I have been back in the UK for a couple of years and expect to be here for several more.

As an 'expat' I usually got to around half a dozen games a year, usually chosen for being accessible to one of the airports served by Easy Jet (from Malaga), Brighton and Palace being particular favourites, easy from Gatwick. Getting to the Walkers was a real pain, often requiring an overnight stay unless I could get a flight to Luton which was often not easy.

Now living in Harrow (on the Hill) I can get to pretty much any game in the southern part of the country and expect to make around 30-35 games this season, though as I usually drive I rarely make it to the northern wastelands.

When living in Spain I used to crave information about City and particularly match reports. The Mockery (online) and the OS are largely rubbish and there is little of substance in the national press, so the more informative reports from City fans at the game became really precious.

Now that I can get to a few games I post my 'reports' for other expats and for those unable to get to games. They are not meant for those at the game, they can clearly make up their own mind, but for those wishing a bit more than just the score and the usual 'we were great' or 'so and so was crap' posts that are all to common.

I know I can be quite critical of City but I write and try to analyse our performance as I see it. I get a lot of flak for being critical of our performance, particularly when we win but to my mind the result is black and white, usually 'awsome' or 'rubbish' depending. What is less cut and dried is our performance, whether we win or loose I try and give my impression of how we played.

I also make suggestions how I think we could improve, so I float ideas about team selection, tactics etc for people to discuss. However I am not a 'professional coach', as i get reminded from time to time but as that is usually by persons who do not approve of my views/ideas, I try not to take it to heart.

Acoustics in the terrace were absolutely mint. Fans sounded quality. Thought for the most part it was a scrappy game but a deserved win. Massive 3 points with Swansea and Blackpool losing.

I hope Dyer is back for Watford as we need some pace down the wings. Gallagher tries to his credit (sent in a great cross for the winner) but he's not a winger, let alone a left-sided one.

Dyer is direct and his pace is useful. Maybe try N'Guessan on the right as well.

Best away game I've ever been to.

The acoustics in the Terrace were great. Great weather.

We were bought down to playing Peterborough's level of football. We didn't play the best but nor did they.

The posh fans we're dreadful, extremely quiet. Didn't even hear them singing when they scored.

My quip pertained to the summative report written by yourself not so long ago which was a little off the mark, (somewhat unusually I may add) subsequently you were asked if you were at the game. And no you were not - your summary came from the radio. Then you backtracked. I have not written a Posh Match Report - because I wasn't at the game.

It's quite ironic and funny how things have come full circle.

The 2 missing links from last seasons game at P'Boro, Howard and King missing through injury and suspension, were the 2 key players to the victory this time around.

Win next week and the playoff place is in the bag, hopefully the players should relax for next week though, after this result and others going our way we can afford to draw to Watford now, this is no longer a must must win game, i hope this has a positive effect on the performance and not a negative one.
