that both impart the same justice.

Saudi Arabia actually have a justice system in place, which while we might not like it, is their right as a Sovereign state.  ISIS are not a sovereign state, and they are carrying out atrocities in other people countries, and against for example innocent civilians and journalists.

But their "justice" system is based on Sharia Law, and therefore religious doctrine, not to dissimilar to some terrorist organisations. Apostasy being one of the "crimes" punishable by death in Saudi Arabia.

They recently imprisoned a gang rape victim for 6 months with her also getting 150 lashes of the wip as it was apparently her fault for being out without a male relative . Wouldn't call that a justice system myself...

He's saying we condemn Isis for beheading people but Saudi Arabia are our ally and they do the same.

It's a simplistic argument but he has a point.

But it's as though he's saying we shouldn't condemn Isis if we don't condemn Saudi Arabia.

No it's the other way round. He's saying if we condem Isis we should also condem Saudi Arabia.

It's highlighting the hypocrisy, the interpretation is subjective.
