Blimey cant believe how young you boys are, I swear I've got t-shirts older than you lot!! :giggle: But you remind me of me in the Filbo days at the KOP. Good luck to you and again.

That video reminds me of how knackered I was after 15 mins of singing and the game hadn't started yet :crylaugh:

The thought of a thousand of us with flags and banners would transform the walkers :scarf::scarf::scarf:

Please enlighten us because you've just added to the list of possible reasons.

Just to clarify my view on the negative aspect, if I was involved at LCFC in dealing with this I'd be wondering as football fans what have you got to hide.

I'd also like to say that if I'd have been free to go yesterday I had been thinking of taking my cam and filming you in action and posting it on the web just like I have with the 36 members who attended the 6 a side footy.

No one that I know of before has ever taken this 'cover up' approach which in itself also makes it highly suspicious.

Sorry Mr. Gee, only just seen your post.

I'm no spokesperson for Fosse Boys as a group, i'm just going by my own experiences of being part of a sub-culture whilst growing up as most of us probably have.

I have been in contact with Liam and the boys since the inception of the group, helping out with design problems they have come up against.

Within the FT forum and Facebook i have dropped little hints that an Ultras group would have to be handled very differently in this country. Maybe i should have more than hinted. The guys seemed really sensible and level headed about the whole thing but keen to keep as much of the Ultra ethos as possible. My own opinion is take it and change it to what suits your own perimeters but purists don't take kindly to things like that.

Even down to the name FOSSE BOYS. Everyone knows that there are male and female members but the BOYS part is an Ultras 'thing' and it has been retained to keep as much authenticity as possible. What i am trying to say is that no sub-culture likes to be diluted in any way and for young fans who are really into the Ultra Culture would see my ideas as well watered down. I didn't want to step on the boys' toes but i'll suggest em all the same because i do think they are decent ideas.

Maybe get a half page in the matchday programs just for general info about the Fosse Boys

If possible link up with people like Birch and Stringer to organise/participate in charity events.

I'm a working musician and can get bands to play at charity events that the boys might want to put on, i'm sure there are loads of ideas. But they are not Ultra traditions.

So as long as The Fosse Boys can digest changes and ideas like the ones i suggested we will be O.K.

I think this would take a huge amount of time and effort. Dunno if the Fosse Boys can be arsed with it all.

I can, and i hope they can too.

We have a meeting with the ticket office this week sometime about where we will be sitting, but we reckon the far corner of SK1 is perfect for us

so it will most likely be there

yeah that corner is always pretty much empty, I'm on Row BB in SK1 so that suits me!!

hope the meeting goes well and they don't try and shove you somewhere to try and discourage you like West/North stand corner which would be a tragedy.

Just to clarify I'm all for this to take off, my query re anonymity seems to be out dated now with the recent pictures and video I'm pleased to see and I think will do you more good than any perceived harm.

As for joining no. Been there done that but as probably the oldest person on this forum, although I still like to to stand and sing, mostly at away games I'm not up for singing non-stop for 90 mins.

But I wish everyone the best luck in the world, which seems to be happening at the moment, but just a word of caution, yes I couldn't resist it, it only takes one incident, one idiot, to bugger up everything you've gained. Don't get complacent and as hard as it may seem someone needs to keep an eye on members in order to maintain discipline.

Sermon over - time to move on.

I don't feel that the fosse boys would be situated there next season as the north stand being the family stand consists of a high level of families who may go for the football rather than the atmosphere aswell. :)

Yeah they definitely won't do that

they actually mentioned the reason why N block didn't work aws because of the complaints from mothers and fathers about swearing etc, which is perfectly understandable

Its great to see some well deserved praise coming your way, the sky is the limit now your off and running.

I think its a great idea seen a similar thing start up at Derby ultra group (Barmy Army), god they have taken some stick from everyone for wanting to go to the match and improve the atmosphere!!!!

Derby's "Barmy Army" are a joke. Ultras is the one thing they are not. A singing section who thieve everyone else's songs is the one thing they are.

so now the blacked out fizzogs are gone, who's who then?.

I'm the most handsome one. Standardly.

Totally agreed and really needs to be taken care of somehow because it is inevitable that if this thing gets a lot more popular, one or a couple of morons will undoubtedly nause things up for everyone else.

Definitely. Self-policing in terms of how group members conduct themselves is something we're already wary of. Thankfully only had to have a quiet word with someone about something minor on Saturday.

Look what I found on youtube :)

Great pictures lads, hope next time there will be 10 times more of you. :chant:

that is really impressive, great sound for such a small group... well on the way now. good job.

lol liking Andy's El Che effort.

Very Sankt Pauli.

I was just reaching for the Shades to go for a mixture of Pauli & Bochum. <-- Bochum Ultra's wear shades even in the winter lol

just a small point, and it may have been mentioned.

but wouldnt it be better to all stand behind the giant flag?.

The two or three in front of the banner were the song starters.
