albionfagan Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Hull fan in peace here. Let me quick to make it clear that I regard Leicester to be a fine club, and certainly bigger than my own at the current moment, Leicester as a city is one that I like a great deal too. Not surprised to see the usual disparaging remarks about Hull, people should not just take lazy assumptions from poxy lists written by Sun writers as gospel, but I guess that's up to you. As for us being 'tin-pot', we've come a long way in a long time but we've always been a club that has underachieved considering that amount of support we can get, we'll never be massive but I think we deserve a little more respect. Now for the management issue, I'm slightly embarrassed by it all and I hate taking managers from other clubs. There are rumours circulating that we may be taken over soon which may explain why Pearson is interested in coming to us, otherwise I can't see why he'd come Leicester are in a good position to push for promotion where as we aren't.
Cobbo Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Gutted if true. Pearson can go fook himself if true, too. But if not, love you Nige. Leicester City losing out to Hull in a management battle? fooking ridiculous. Nothing club, nothing fans, nothing. Hull City are not fit to wipe my own fine arse.
KFS Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Forgot Hull were such a massive fooking club with great stadium atmosphere and lots of money to spend.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 25 June 2010 Author Posted 25 June 2010 both us and hull city are both cash strapped as hoos has constantly said in the leicester mercury theres no money to spend and that we will be relying on free transfers and loans. pearson obviously feels that hull have a better equipped squad and more potential to bounce back to the prem. if not he can rely on parachute payments. pearson must believe that he cant take the club any further without any financial backing. he obviously wants to leave on a high with a good record and not let his good record slip because he had no money to spend on an improved squad. i blame milan mandovic though, he should have tied up pearsons contract along time ago.
speckledjim Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Sorry lads, but it's true. These are facts = All the Hull staff were called into the KC today for an announcement / meeting - no doubt they were warned to keep their gobs shut. My HP sauce wont tell what went on. Holloway said this morning he's staying at Blackpool, no doubt for the PL and his love of the club and fans (?) He said the same at Plymouth and left the next day. Using the Hull job to pressurise B'pool ? Both he and NP were interviewed, so Mandaric gave his permission first ? My info is that NP is a done deal subject to compen to LCity. He is bringing your backroom staff with him.(Gossip says Fryatt is coming to). He will be introduced to the media on Monday. It was supposed to be today but somebody in Leics away on holiday. The appt was announced here last week, but no names, no pack drill. Hope you dont get the Clown Brown. He won 6 games out of the last 59 he managed. Good luck on that one. Good luck for the season. You'll have be quick - not long now. Is that fat Git with the man boobs still banging his drum ? Mind you - not as bad as Bolton.

Joe. Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Jesus, the prospect of losing Pearson and Fryatt? This could be a fucking great summer.

We've made 6mill of Hunt & Mouyokolo but we've just deferred another tax installment because we're so fooked financially.
Legend_in_blue Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Anybody leaving any club the same size of ours for some tinpot club is an idiot.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Im sorry, but If Nigel's going to pull apart our squad and leave us with DJ Campbell and Steve Howard up front, then he's going to get hell.
Ozwin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Jesus, the prospect of losing Pearson and Fryatt? This could be a fucking great summer. I might stop posting on here for the rest of the summer. I can't deal with these rumours.
Maybes Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Nigel Pearson - Hull City Manager Have some fvcking ambition lad.
Joe. Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Everybody saying tinpot is clearly being a moron. Ourselves and Hull are on a similar level at the moment, despite where we both may have been five years ago. But with their current financial situation this just makes absolutely no sense to me. If it happens, which is looking increasingly likely, Hull have pulled something out the bag here.
Corky Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I am concerned that our best players could follow. Fryatt, Berner, King, Hobbs, Weale to name a few- worrying because Pearson seems to have a great relationship with them
Prospero Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 When you feel like London and you look like Hull. Who, if anyone, said this?
Collymore Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Im sorry, but If Nigel's going to pull apart our squad and leave us with DJ Campbell and Steve Howard up front, then he's going to get hell. Howard and DJ would be deadly (based on end of season form)
KFS Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Will all the Hull fans fook off to their own forum? I don't give a shit about you're club. I just want mine to rub shit all over yours if this is true. Nige will leave because of money- shallow considering he's only been here 2 seasons and took us so far.
KFS Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I don't give a shit if anyone tells me money is an important factor, he earns alot more than any of us do and if he cared so much for money, he would of told Kermit to blast it top corner.
Mee Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Loosing Pearson is bad enough but not Fryatt. He was here before NP so lets just hope he has the sense to stay.
Salieri Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Loosing Pearson is bad enough but not Fryatt. He was here before NP so lets just hope he has the sense to stay. So was DJ Campbell and he can fuck right off. I'd rather keep Pearson than Fryatt. Preferably keep both, of course.
Joe. Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Loosing Pearson is bad enough but not Fryatt. He was here before NP so lets just hope he has the sense to stay. I think we'll be fine with him. Besides, surely Hull can't afford anybody anyway?!
Ozwin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 We rate Fryatt at like £3/4M surely? Hull can't afford that.
