Swansea

He's your problem now.

I'd laugh if we ended up with another Holloway situation and I don't mean the second time when he actually joined us, I mean the first time when he was at QPR. We approached them to talk to him, he demanded that they let him speak... after we met him we never offered him the job. By which time his QPR bridges were burnt and he found himself out of a job. :)

Personally I think Swansea's lack of goals could be down to the fact Sousa could not get the funding he wanted to bring the strikers he wanted in to the club, so with a tight budget you have to take your chances sometimes ! we are lucky because Fryatt is the kind of player who can make something out of nothing for instance, Newcastle at home (even though he didn't score but still). So our strike force may not need too much tinkering, maybe one or two players like a Waghorn or Vaughan !

Surely he cant be that bad if he achieved your highest league position for 20 odd years ? And I for one thought you played some nice stuff last year at times !

But we can safely say that Steve, Steve, Steve Howard would have buried that chance Kuqi squandered !

we will see how he does ! if we are getting investments which will allow Sousa to do what he wishes, we may see a different man, the real Sousa after all he wouldn't have joined us if he didn't think we could offer what he wanted ?

And no. You can't have Pratley.

Can we? :D

FWIW I think Leicester. have got themselves a very decent manager and one that's certainly no worse then the other options out there.

No sore necks for you lot this year then. That's a good thing surely. ;)

Nah, Leicester convert managers to hoof ball. We could have Wenger in charge and we'd still launch the ball 100yards to the striker.

That made me laugh because it's true

Believe what you want to believe, just remember in 6 months time what you were told about him and his waste of space assistant.(Bruno)

You wont be having any Swans players to join him at Leicester because they all know what he is like and non of them like him.

You can have his only foreign signing in the past 12 months - Lopez. , because he is useless and a waste of money also.

Wait for him to mention the" Leicester Family "and all of his made up contacts in the European game during his press conference.

Wasn't he the fella who was diving on the first day last season?

As you will by now be aware, Paulo Sousa has left Swansea City. I wish you luck with your new manager, because it is a miracle that he was with us for so long. The man is arogant, big headed and has no contacts in the British or European game (although he will name drop like mad).

He never speaks to the press, so dont expect any info to come out from your club in future.

If you can find out what his assistant Bruno does, good luck, because no one could whilst he was with Swansea.

You can expect very defensive football next season and few goals.

Thank you for taking him away from us, as it saved us having to sack him and pay him off.

Good luck for the coming season, you will be neading it.

The manager who got you your highest league finish in how many years?

He was one game from getting you lot in the play offs, no wonder he left if your all this deluded!

He comes from Portugal,

It's much nicer than Hull!

I don't get what Swansea is saying. It's not like Sousa got you guys relegated or even mid-table. He almost got you to the play-offs. Something like one goal away, and he had one of the best defences in the league. Criticise him all you want, but as player, I'd definitely respect him on what he has achieved in the game, if he's arrogant, so what, he won the fooking Champions League!

Arrogant is good, you hardly want a manager who thinks he's shit and that everyone else is better than him!

Also, regardless of his track record at Swansea, from what I recall, Pearson didn't have the best record at his former clubs.

Sousa is playing with the big boys now rather than some two bob sheep shaggers who are punching way above their weight.

With the quality of squad at his disposal now and the chance to add a couple more decent signings there is'nt really any comparison.

All Manager's will have their detractors at a club, god knows I wasn't a big fan of Pearson, but overall Pearson did a good job and so did Sousa. I bet the majority of Swansea fans are gutted.

Just wonder if these comments would be the same if he had got Swansea into the play offs? not a bad season for someone who is arrogant, big headed and has no contacts, sounds familiar in fact.
