Thinking of having one in the very near future; some writing like my family motto. Would like to have it on my wrist but being as I want to join the RAF that'd be a silly move so I'm thinking on my forearm, bicep, chest or shoulder. In other words, still thinking :P

Check first what the RAF's policy is on tattoos just in case. The PSNI have brought in a new policy which means new recruits can't get tattoos which will show when wearing their uniform.

If you are unsure, get it where it won't be visible all the time .

Yeah I'm going to go to the careers office and ask about their policy. That's what's making the decision fun x)

Getting a couple this week. £60 an hour though. Is that a lot in comparison to other good parlors?

Thats about the cheapest you'll find mate for any sort of reputable tattoo artist.

You've got to be fairly well built to even think about getting one. Seeing pasty white dudes with tattoos is just uggghhh

Each to his own. I have plenty of 'pasty white' mates with amazing sleeves, and fit girlfriends.

Only had it done last Thursday so still healing at the minute. Really hard to get a good picture because the flash just shines off the scabs but you get the jist.

And my old one on other leg

Ressurecting an old thread because I just found this tat online, gotta be my fave ever...

It really is great work. Imagine what it's gonna look like when he's 70-odd all saggy and flabby though!!

I don't really like it, but from a technical point of view, that is very very good work.

If i was ever to get a tatoo, which seems very unlikely, I would get this...

I know this is an ancient thread, however I was looking through google for a good picture of the 'running fox' badge to have as my next tattoo and it sent me here, haha

Anyway I have emailed the above picture to the tattoo studio and am booked in for Thursday morning, just got to decide where to have it now

I ended up paying that amount. As z-layrex said, it's the standard price for any reputable parlour. Although, I saw some amazing work from Gothic Tattoo on Fosse Road and I'm not sure how much they charge, so it might be worth a look mate.
