Heskey

Think this would be absolutely brilliant, but the wages must not be too far out of sync with the rest of the club.

If we're going to move forward as a club to the next level, there is going to come a point where the wage structure must be broken. Many people are making comments about other peoples signings and how we're being left behind, but then others are commenting about not breaking our wage structure as it will disrupt the team. Unfortunately money talks and if want the quality that will push us on, then we will have to pay for it.

This could be the beginning of that transition. Heskey would be dominant in this League and would definitely fit into Sousa's style of play.

Would his wages upset some of the squad? Perhaps. Would the squad prefer to be playing in the Premiership? Definitely.

It's a rare occasion to get one without the other.

It baffles me that some people wouldn't think this would be a good signing. Unlike most big name players who we'd try and get, Heskey would not be coming here for the money. His heart is definitely in the right place with this club, something which has already been proved by his previous generosity.

Would he come here now though? It's a difficult one. I'd guess that Villa would let him go with a reasonable offer given his age, and I'm sure he'd fancy a final crack with his hometown club in the Championship. He's only just retired from international football with England for christ sake, he'd be a cracking signing at this level.

Honestly there are only one or two people saying this, everyone, and I mean everyone, else wants this to happen. For the vast majority of you out there keep posting how much you'd love him here, imagine if he checks this site and it plays a part in his decision making. We know Emile would be loved here, he might need to see it too.

Pretty much this.

If Heskey was employed in the same role as Howard is now, Fryatt and Campbell would score for giggles. Heskey himself might even weigh in with a couple himself, just a tough player to play against for defenders.

Leicester have refused to rule out launching a sensational bid to lure Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey to the club.

The Foxes were taken over by Thai businessman Vichal Raksriaksorn last week and he is believed to be keen to fund a promotion push from the Championship.

Heskey is said to be the target of the new owner, who has made a reported £10million available to manager Paulo Sousa to splash out on a high-profile signing.

Heskey's arrival would smash the current wage structure in place at the Walkers Stadium, however assistant manager Bruno Oliveira said a move wasn't out of the question.

In the week Manchester City star Craig Bellamy joined second tier rivals Cardiff on loan, Sousa's No.2 believes a move for the former England striker would send a message of intent.

Oliveira told The Sun: "It would make a big impact.

"Craig Bellamy was an opportunity that Dave Jones took."

I would give my left nut to have him back. Most centre backs wouldn't have a chance against Bruno. We all know that hes not an out and out scorer but the chances that he would create for the likes of DJ or Matty would be great.

It's a combination of things mate, you need the original picture you want to edit (in this case N'Guessan's picture). Then find a good HQ photo of the person you want to replace it with. Paste the second photo on top of the first photo as a layer and then use the lasso tool to cut out the desired area (Heskey's Face). Then just change the colour of it to match (hue/saturation etc), blend with feather tool, clone stamp tool, rubber etc until it looks right and voila! :)

Summed up in one.

Are people such morons that they've forgotten the Championship is just a little bit less good than international football? Fucks sake. If he was our worst player by miles at the World Cup (and he wasn't), he'd still take the piss at this level. People are seriously saying an England player at the World Cup a couple of months ago isn't good enough for a Championship Leicester City and wouldn't displace Steve Howard (proud Scotland B international)???. Get your heads examined people.

Depends which international team you are talking about, seeing as Heskey lined up against Jay DeMerit v USA and that the Algerian back line is probably weeker than quite a few Championship defences, I would say any suggestion that he would "Take the piss" at this level (or any Football League level for that metter) is just as laughable as people claiming he is not as good as Steve Howard. The kind of player he has turned into he is very reliant on the players around him, his days of picking up the ball running round 5 players and burying one are over, and have been for about 3/4 years.

Very much depends on price and wage demands for me.

there's no actual substance to this is there, really?! Don't think Villa would play hard-ball exactly, but whether Em wants to drop a level and a fat wodge of money when he's got a fair few years left and was Englands No9 till the other month, remains to be seen (if this isn't 100% lazy journalism anyway...which it is).

Unless we sell Howard we cannot even consider this. The guy has lost almost everything he had when he was with us, we'll be buying a completely different player and I'm not even sure if he could effect games as much as Steve Howard, and thats saying something.
