LCFCkid Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Still don't think he'll go seeing as paolo see's him as one of his most important players this season nd holloway has brought in a few strikers and also not enough money
Babylon Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Now he's back tracking, he's so full of shit sometimes.
Unabomber Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Would love it for Gallagher to get a decent run up top, for saying he is a striker we hardly taken advantage of his clear ability so far.
AaronH Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 DJ did look promising in pre season but as has been said i think gallagher given as decent run in the side i think would do well
okie fox Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 DJ did look promising in pre season but as has been said i think gallagher given as decent run in the side i think would do well Gallagher has good ball control but no pace so i don't see him as a direct replacement for DJ. City need a fast striker to stretch the opponents defence.
FrankieADZ Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 well as long as we get at least our money back for DJ, no problem with him going with me if his hearts not with the clubs
Babylon Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Merc says he wasn't in the side due to illness Waiting for someone to blame Sousa's training methods for it!!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Waiting for someone to blame Sousa's training methods for it!!!!! HE'S MAKING THEM RUN SO HARD NOW TO MAKE UP FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING IN THE SUMMER AND THEY'RE THROWING UP!!! HE'S THE PITS, HE'S GOT TO GO.
Criggers Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Maybe we'll finally get money for DJ and then spend £3million on LeFondre and give him £20k a week 4 year deal only for him to become a flop and be permanently off side. Then we'll sack Sousa, the new manager will loan him to Carlisle who will get promoted two seasons on the trot because of his 40 goals a season but then not want him when they get to the prem because he only has a year left on his contract. I dont know why I decided to use Carlisle as an example but I just noticed they're top of League One at the moment!
Sylvie85 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Just said on SSN transfer centre that dj's permanent move to blackpool should be completed today!
1964FOX Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 If. Sky are right let's hope they spend his wages wisely on someone decent. I would hope Paulo has someone lined up as a replacement and is just waiting till DJ has gone.
davieG Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 From the Merc on Sousa's injury update DJ Campbell should be available again after missing the Leeds game due to illness,
Mack Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 According to Sky Sports News the permanent deal for DJ to Blackpool will complete today. Good news IMO.
LCFCJOHNO Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 The thing with DJ is it never really happened for him at Leicester and if he is on 16 grand a week then I think It’s time for him to go! I wonder how much he will go for??
FrankieADZ Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Just hope Sousa has a replacement or 2 lined up, and not midfielders
danielpholt Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 According to Stringer on twitter, this deal is not yet done.. Although SSN are running DJ Campbell to Blackpool, I was stood next to journo+source at the time, although I remain fearful, its not done yet
Edmund Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Sad day for Leicester. I hope all flags are lowered to half-mast in the city.
sdb Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Sad day for Leicester. I hope all flags are lowered to half-mast in the city. I think all flags should be raised in recognition of DJ's poor timing of runs
teblin Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Looks like i'll never get to see him score at the walkers!
Edmund Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Looks like i'll never get to see him score at the walkers! Don't worry you will. On his return to The Walkers next season with Blackpool.
Houdini Logic Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Don't worry you will. On his return to The Walkers next season with Blackpool. That's providing Blackpool stay up
eaststandtom Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 hopefully it can be sorted asap. this is a long running joke. . when martin allen went he threw his toys out of the pram and since then his total unenthusiasm reflected in his performances. i think people are being foolish jumping on the dj bandwagon all of a sudden. he has shown contempt for city blackpool are welcome to him.
