OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Quality signing. Possibly rising to £3m is quite sizeable but in my opinion he is worth every penny and will give a huge boost to the moral in the sqaud. Incredibly strong squad now as well, with every player who gets on our bench good enough to play in the first team. Compare our current squad to the one that of the one taken to palace on the first day. Just hope we can start getting the results now. Most expensive signing since? Ade Shit's Me Middle Name Akindbyi
Joe. Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Most expensive signing since? Ian Walker was probably the last player to command a fee around this... he was £2.5 million. But yeah, most expensive since Ade. Matt Jones cost around £3 million as well didn't he?
ousefox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Ian Walker was probably the last player to command a fee around this... he was £2.5 million. ah yes totally forgot about Walker
CKB Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Loved everything this guy stood for when he was here last season and now to be here full time is just the conifdence booster we as LCFC fans, club, players needed!
Dylan Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 £3 million... but oh well, great signing! ... Him and Fryatt up top, with Dyer on the wing = FANTASTIC.
bandy Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 sooooooooooooooooooo happy what a signing. i dont think 3 mill is expensive at all you think of his potential. i think it is well worth it WAGHORN IS GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jay Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 If we got £1.5 million for DJ + his wages that could well be a total of close £2.5million so imo we have a better player, who wants to play for the club and doesn't have a crap moustache like DJ

Either way agree with everything you say and loved that crap moustache quote! haha
Leicester_Loyal Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 How long is his contract, does anyone know? 3 years.
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 From Wiki On August 31, 2010, Waghorn rejoined Leicester City on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee of £3m
Smudge Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 From Wiki Love it......who from on here would have written that?
lcfc81 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Its strange, this time last year I was wondering who the hell this Waghorn was that we were signing and I was feeling distinctly underwhelmed. This year we're signing him for 3 million and I'm delighted! Bizarre.
when ur smiling Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Fantastic news. WELCOME BACK WAGGY Never thought we would be able to sign him on a permenent deal if its 3m its 3m.who cares at least mr dj lego head hair do man has gone.Definatley a move in the right direction for sucsess.Ihave to say well done Mr Sousa and the board just what we all needed WAGGYS BACK FOOKING GREAT
Wymsey Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 With Waghorn and Fryatt, (when he will be fully fit) we can actually score some much needed goals
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Quality signing. Possibly rising to £3m is quite sizeable but in my opinion he is worth every penny and will give a huge boost to the moral in the sqaud. Compare our current squad to the one that of the one taken to palace on the first day. Just hope we can start getting the results now. Most expensive signing since? It has to be Stephen Clemence / DJ Campbell doesn't it? Think I may reward myself with a wank tonight because of this signing.
Tilley Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 He comes into a team on the decline, sat bottom of the table and a squad full of unrest, lets hope our fans don't heap a shit load of pressure on him.
Shipman Out Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Welcome back Waghorn. Top class. The fee is what he's worth, he's only going to improve and we will sell him for more superb signing. A piece of the jigsaw
Donut Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 -----------------Weale-------------------- Neilson----Morrison---Hobbs---Bruno ------------------Abe----------------------- ----------King---------Wellens----------- Dyer-----------------------------Waghorn -----------------Fryatt---------------------- Logan Lamey Moreno DNG Oakley Gallagher Howard Not too shabby really push yuki further forward mate £3,000,000 is a lot of money, but im sure Waggy's got all the potential to justify that fee. great news
carterfox90 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 welcome back home son you know your loved here 1 twat out & the return of a hero good day at last
richardsfoxes Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Welcome back Waggy, time to get my new shirt with his name on the back . Now i really do hope he reaches his potencial, in my opinion if he carrys on the way he started, perhaps a future england starter, who knows. El hobbs and Waggy for U21 call up gogogo.
Leicfox Posted 2 September 2010 Posted 2 September 2010 I think this was a mandaric signing - carefully orchestrated to look like it wasn't.... Don't care though, like the boy a lot and he will do a good job for us. Of course it was.... He's a clever man that serbian fox.
Wymsey Posted 2 September 2010 Posted 2 September 2010 Yes another of Milan's signings - but a good one this time. It was him who wanted him as he was glad Mr.Toptw@t gave city the finances to sign Waggy.
