Fox You Forest Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 When was the last time we spent £3 million on a player? What I was just thinking, been a while.
Maybes Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Shit.....this may mean I have to get a Cov ticket. <_<
Mackem_in_peace Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I can only assume you lot are delighted with this signing? Best of luck Waggy.
Thracian Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Seems a lot of money to me but at least we know what we're getting and the guy is commitment personified.
easilee Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 And none out bar DJ. Still indicates some unrest somewhere though.
Ozwin Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Wasn't Coventry the game where he showed us what he could do last season? I honestly am chuffed to bits with this, he's actually ours people! OURS!
Leicfox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 worrying though that there are no other signings in... - just heard on radio leicester... miltonfox That is quite worrying, needed a solid defender.
Babylon Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Bruce has playeda blinder there. Remind me who sold us Clemence and DJ for £3m
The MayneFox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 worrying though that there are no other signings in... - just heard on radio leicester... miltonfox apparently weve sighned Zayatte from Hull?? and in return their getting fryatt for some fee aswell this is not made up by me i have sourses
JmorsonLCFC Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 WAGHORNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
VampLCFC Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I'm sure I'll get moaned at here, cracking signing, love Waggy, but am I the only one that thinks we've signed him almost out of desperation? Struggling to get players to come here, so throw an extortionate £3M at the Waghorn deal?! Very pleased though, don't get me wrong!
AndyBrew Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 £3,000,000 christ on a bike oh well lets see how it pans out then
StanSP Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Delighted about this. Such a committed player and he knows how much he is loved here. Glad he's ours! Did get a bit worried when apparently TalkSport said Hull were about to swoop in around 3pm!
maddog Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Another Waghorn stunner to come at Cov again perhaps £3m is pricy though, but is Gyan worth £13m excess, i doubt it. Sunderland are £10m worse off with a player who could easily flop in the PL.
GLC Posted 31 August 2010 Author Posted 31 August 2010 IanStringerBBCMartyn Waghorn, as I said hours ago, is a Leicester City player. Will be confirmed by the club later. Credit to LCFC, a good day's business 1 minute ago via ÜberTwitter
reynard Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Potentially good news but there is one question at the back of my mind. Whose signing is he? Is this something Soussa wants or is this a Mandaric signing? He's also joining a different set up with a different style of play. Really hope this works out. 1 striker in another out but we've not sorted out or problem areas IMO. A Japanese player (again whose signing?) who may or may not be good. From what I've seen of Soussa's signings neither of these look like his type of player. I really hope that the owners are not loading players onto him for their own reasons.
ozleicester Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 1100 Online As suggested by AOWW on the signing of Waggers, i have just donated to the forum, only a couple of quid but its all i can afford at the moment... thanks Mark and anyone responsible for Foxestalk. Cmon folks.. where would you be right now, if not for foxestalk!
Frost Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Arsehole out, Legend in. Roll on Coventry. So Waghorn is a City legend but Heskey isn't? Good grief.
