GLC Posted 31 August 2010 Author Posted 31 August 2010 As suggested by AOWW on the signing of Waggers, i have just donated to the forum, only a couple of quid but its all i can afford at the moment... thanks Mark and anyone responsible for Foxestalk. Cmon folks.. where would you be right now, if not for foxestalk! Just done the same
MC Prussian Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 As much as I appreciate having Waghorn back at Leicester, £3m is a whole lot of money for a player at his age and with that little experience. I honestly hope the lad will pay back that steep price by scoring a ton of goals... Preferrably starting against Coventry next weekend.
Bert Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Stringer - Martyn Waghorn, as I said hours ago, is a Leicester City player. Will be confirmed by the club later. Credit to LCFC, a good day's business
Babylon Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 -----------------Weale-------------------- Neilson----Morrison---Hobbs---Bruno ------------------Abe----------------------- ----------King---------Wellens----------- Dyer-----------------------------Waghorn -----------------Fryatt---------------------- Logan Lamey Moreno DNG Oakley Gallagher Howard Not too shabby really fook that looks a bloody strong squad.
Master Fox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Great signing but we are desperate for a decent centre back
Maybes Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Be well dissapointed if we haven't signed anyone else. Likewise to be honest. Pleased with Waghorn but we've not addressed the problem area of centre back.
KFS Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 -----------------Weale-------------------- Neilson----Morrison---Hobbs---Bruno ------------------Abe----------------------- ----------King---------Wellens----------- Dyer-----------------------------Waghorn -----------------Fryatt---------------------- Logan Lamey Moreno DNG Oakley Gallagher Howard Not too shabby really Great team on paper..
Ash Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 So happy with this signing, but we have paid over the odds for him!....But i suppose thats what you pay for a young talented player nowadays.
sbfox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 -----------------Weale-------------------- Neilson----Morrison---Hobbs---Bruno ------------------Abe----------------------- ----------King---------Wellens----------- Dyer-----------------------------Waghorn -----------------Fryatt---------------------- Logan Lamey Moreno DNG Oakley Gallagher Howard Not too shabby really Sexual. That looks very good - maybe not title winning, but surely good enough for another playoff push?
Ozwin Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Great signing but we are desperate for a decent centre back We've got one stuck on the bench being replaced by some Portugese show off.
Bert Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I think Sousa's waiting for Vitor to get fully fit within regards to the cb position.
jonw88 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Official on Sunderland OS http://www.safc.com/news/20100831/waghorn-seals-foxes-switch_2256213_2140971 Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn has completed a move from the Black Cats to npower Championship side Leicester City for a fee rising to £3m.
Edmund Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Great signing and glad to have him back, but we've been mugged with the £3million price tag. Fingers crossed he doesn't get injured.
sdb Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Great signing but we are desperate for a decent centre back agreed
AoWW Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 As suggested by AOWW on the signing of Waggers, i have just donated to the forum, only a couple of quid but its all i can afford at the moment... thanks Mark and anyone responsible for Foxestalk. Cmon folks.. where would you be right now, if not for foxestalk! Thank you. I can honestly say that there's no way this site would have held up with +1000 users online before Mark did the recent upgrade... which would have meant many, many frustrated FTers as today's transfer deadline approached, myself included. Mark hates asking for donations himself but he pays for the running of this site from his own pocket and any donations, however small, make a huge difference. C'mon folks, I'm sure you can all afford to put your hand in your pocket Paypal account and donate a small amount.
davieG Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Let's just hope that Sousa an get the best out him, different manager, different style - same fans.
The MayneFox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 fook that looks a bloody strong squad. decent squad....another CB whos had experince in the campionship was the siging i was looking for morrison....after wacthing him at palace im unsure at him CB
Master Fox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 We've got one stuck on the bench being replaced by some Portugese show off. Well, perhaps. But I'd like to see what Moreno is like playing in midfield. But he's been shocking playing at the back so far
Ford Super Sunday Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 It's only an outlay of £1.5m in the end, after fetching £1.5m on DJ. Plus there's no more DJ wages, so it's a plus! And as has been said, it's rising to £3m. Seems steep, but isn't as bad really.
