If your every contact/statement is to be reduced to a committee decision and agreement, then sadly i feel the FB's will be a shortlived attempt.

Personally I'd rather they made a thought out statement rather than the some of the misleading posts we got at the start.

Already the club has effectively silenced the Fosse Boys, i dont require a professional report from the meeting, i would like to hear what happened and how the FB's reps felt about it.

In the past, the group has been criticised for a lack of clarity, and therefore steps have been taken in order to ensure that the founding members are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

There's no point going into detail about the meeting until the group have had chance to discuss the merits of what was said and what we're going to do about future plans for the group.

I have repeatedly said that the group has not been silenced by the Club.

Wednesday is the first realistic time that the group have had the chance to get together due to other commitments.

The group will release information relating to exactly what was said in the meeting and its future plans in a statement to be released after a definitive way forward has been agreed by members of the group. We need time to clarify exactly what was said by all parties involved with the meeting in order to ensure there is no confusion within our supporters.

This is true but dealing with this situation and LCFC requires a degree of patience, common-sense, discretion, integrity, negotiating skills and tenacity with a pinch of cunning thrown in.

Frankly I don't think the security down at LCFC have emotions and are certainly not interested in them other than thinking it's what causes them all their trouble so letting emotions get in the way they'll likely as not end up with nothing or at best looking stupid. As I said in previous post if they need our support again then that's when those in support can show some emotion.

The Trust is offering support to the Fosse Boys and giving advice about handling the club when asked, we have also been in regular contact with the FSF about the situation.

The Trust itself is a member of the FSF and our association with the Stand Up, Sit Down goes back to 2005 when we organised an open meeting with SUSD, fans who wanted to stand & the club.

We therefore have the official notes from the FSF of last Friday's meeting & fully understand why the Fosse Boys need to meet and agree their approach going forwards

This sums it up. Let the Fosse Boys sit down and figure out how they are to respond to the meeting representatives for the group had with the club. I think we can wait a few days if the outcome many of us wants is on the "closer" horizon.

This post from Foxes Trust underlines that there are things to be discussed. Sometimes considering the options and discussing internally is the best option rather than going into full thrust berserker mode. I can patiently wait a few more days to hear from both the Fosse Boys and the club how they are to go about treating the clubs fans in a proper manner.

im not sure if i have been misunderstood, but i have never said i wanted a clear and immediate explanation of what they plan on doing....

All i thought that would be reasonable is if we are told what was actually said at the meeting.. they can take as long as is needed to work out what to do next. its very important to get it right ,

That's a fair point, but a full and detailed synopsis of how the meeting went and what was said will come with the future plans for the group. I can understand why you're disappointed not to have seen a report of the meeting, but it is coming soon. I was initially disappointed not to have seen anything on the forum over the weekend, but on reflection I can see why nothing was posted.

The FSF rep has given a written copy of the meeting to the supporters trust ( as mentioned by themselves earlier) so i dont see what the delay is in releasing them...

If they take too long then people will lose intrest, media outlets will move on to other subjects.

As far as the media is concerned, they have peoples interest... they need to release the minutes of the meeting whilst the media are still on their side whilst it is still fresh on peoples mind and public opinion/ reputation with the public is important to the club.

its because of statements like this the Fosse boys need to be keeping peoples intrest.. so that they, along with public opinion and public pressure can be a force to challenge the club and put the pressure back on them.,

my concern remains that, by stealth, the club are silencing the Fosse Boys.

I accept that as an informal group, their information and comments may be imperfect. The LAST thing i would like is for the FB's to become another organised group who have to follow the clubs rules and abide by their expectations.

We know that the clubs rules and requirements are at odds with the FB's (and many other supporters) and the club will be working to have the group controlled, this starts with managing what information is given out.. by whom and how much.
