It seems like a veil of silence has been placed over the Fosse Boys and I believe those fans that have backed them deserve an Official Statement from the Fosse Boys. This

Like you said above, the representatives of the Fosse Boys will have been a lot younger than those across the table from them and I'm guessing they want a bit of time to digest the contents of the meeting and work out what their next move is? Don't know if they have been silenced though, could be wrong.

I wasn't suggesting they say what their next moves might be it was more a statement of how they saw the meeting because that OS statement didn't look like a joint statement just how the club saw the meeting. Even a simple statement along the lines of agreeing with the Clubs Official Statement, I'm afraid silence to me conveys a more sinister conclusion, as I said maybe i'm being overly cynical but my level of trust in anything to do with LCFC is zero!
smudger63 Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 This sounds to me like the experienced negotiator hoodwinking the naive into believing things will improve. Seems to me what they've done is taken the sting out of the momentum gained. I'm betting that nothing will have changed and they're hoping that by the next home game most fans not directly involved with the FB will be placated by this and will have moved on. Interesting that not a single comment has been forth coming from the FB re the meeting or have I missed it? - perhaps an agreement not to comment Either way a meeting to arrange a meeting with no definite announcement of time or agenda? Perhaps I really am too cynical? Nope, dont think your being too cynical at all davie. You`ve summed up exactly the way i`m thinking!

I would ask all those who have shown wonderful support for the group to bear with the organisers for a while so they can consider what to do next and put together a response and report. Also a massive thank you to the FSF representative whose contribution was very helpful.

(But we only have ourselves to blame) How about if we all get on nicely, not talk to the media and say we're all in love and working together and in a couple of weeks we'll move you to a place in the ground where you'll "get away" with standing for much longer periods despite our "best efforts" to prevent this sort of thing for safety reasons? We'll offer any moaners that you are sitting near nice seats in the Keith Weller - we've got loads left anyway. Would you like a tour of the stadium whilst your here? And look here's our resident photographer to take pictures of you and Alan all holding hands.............. Was it anything like that? N.

Can't believe how this story has evolved over the last few months. Still difficult to call how it will pan out; most important thing is for everyone to keep the pressure on and channel it in whatever way the Fosse Boys think is appropriate to achieve their goals.

I can only assume that the club has "suggested" that for them to be able to work together they expect them to work in a professional manner/ relationship and not post unconfirmed and subjective information on message boards, in effect silencing them. could be wrong, but that's the impression that I get

They won't lose support because people don't agree with them, but because they are bored of waiting for info. If they are not allowed to keep us updated they should at least tell us that...

Just about everyone on here has been extremely supportive of us and you obviously deserve to know what the outcome was and what our plans are. Please bear with us, we're meeting on Wedensday to discuss our next move before anything else is said.

davieG Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 As long as they're not being silenced, and we now know they are not then I believe it's in their own interests to keep their plans/thoughts to themselves whilst negotiations are in progress. If they can come to an acceptable arrangement then our support will have counted if they cannot come to a satisfactory solution then they can then announce the full situation so that we as fans can decide whether to support them further or whether we feel they or the club are being unreasonable.
ozleicester Posted 6 September 2010 Posted 6 September 2010 Disapointed, Already the club has effectively silenced the Fosse Boys, i dont require a professional report from the meeting, i would like to hear what happened and how the FB's reps felt about it. If your every contact/statement is to be reduced to a committee decision and agreement, then sadly i feel the FB's will be a shortlived attempt. Football is an emotional game, supporting a team is emotional (especially leicester). Good luck Fosse Boys, i fear they have got you on the ropes.
