Podge Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I know this might not relate to him ever becoming a professional or anything of that nature, but this kid is quite the young player.
Father Ted Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Believe me, I've seen better. It's just the white boots. No doubt he'll be kicked to pieces before he's 16 and end up becoming a plumber.
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 1.05 And I'd like to see you lot do better aged 16+ to be honest, haha.
Father Ted Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 1.05 And I'd like to see you lot do better aged 16+ to be honest, haha. I've seen my 8-year old brother score a better goal than that. Believe me, none of these 'youtube wonderkids' ever get anywhere.
Samilktray Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 He looks fantastic, give him a few years and he'll be a talent.
MC Prussian Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 That's why Gayern are top of the league most of the time: Nurturing "home-grown" talent from an early age on.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 My boy play for under 7's for his local team, and 3 of his team play for city, cov and forest. Yet the most flashy player and highest goal scorer can't get into any school of excellance team. Reason...........the scouts look for vey particular things, ie first touch, passing and vision..........alot of ball greedy flash harry's aren't considered capable of mmoving upa level. And to be honest, the chances of any of these kids becomming pro is very slim!!
Lillehamring Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 what an arrogant little shit, i bet his team mates hate him. and if his parents are making egotistical star-fade slo-mo videos like that already, it's no wonder. talk about grounding and nurturing talent thru - probably be burnt out on booze and pot by 16.
Stadt Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 They're like 7 but they dive in alot but take nothing away from him but he'll probably just be semi-pro
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Believe me, none of these 'youtube wonderkids' ever get anywhere. The original poster acknowledged that. Where is anyone saying it's going to be the next Messi? Just acknowledging that the kid's pretty talented for his age. What's wrong with that? what an arrogant little shit, i bet his team mates hate him. HE'S SEVEN YEARS OLD Fuck me you're weird sometimes.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I had to stop watching, reminded me too much of myself before my knee went.
Collymore Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 It makes you relalise that defending isn't a talent that kids are born with (especially the ones in that video ) I've never seen such a bunch of headless chickens.
Lillehamring Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 HE'S SEVEN YEARS OLD Fuck me you're weird sometimes. i was beeing a little glib, but there were plenty of look at me cantona-esque posturing as he scored - my memory of scoring goals at that age was the rest of the team coming and congratulating - not once did you see that. as i said, the hyped up style of the video makes me think that his parents have told him a genius and he's learnt to believe that. no escaping his talent, but that was a creepy, little-miss-america video.

First ever goal I scored on a Sunday was a twenty five yard belter into the bottom corner from off the left wing. I was about eleven years old, playing my first season on pitch having been moved from goals for being too small (and too fast to be "wasted") I put my shirt over my head like Ravanelli, cheering like a maniac, and ran several laps of the opposition half before jumping on the floor. Everyone was probably looking at me like a tit. I didn't care, I was having fun - "posturing" or not. I think I turned out alright.
Tommeh Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Got a couple in my under 9's team who would send him to the deck no sweat. Doubt he'll do anything.
C-man Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Got a couple in my under 9's team who would send him to the deck no sweat. Doubt he'll do anything. That's it Tom. If anything we need more brutes in the game. Stoke are struggling.

Guest Bilo Posted 8 September 2010 Posted 8 September 2010 Impressive moves from the lad, especially at 7, he's obviously blessed with natural talent. Whether this will equate to anything in the future is hard to tell. Didn't Man United sign an Australian kid of about the same age a couple of years back? As has already been mentioned though, it's pretty clear that none of the kids playing against him had the same burning desire to be a defender.
