davieG Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/hullcity/HULL-CITY-Zayatte-hits-snag/article-2638911-detail/article.html? LEICESTER City boss Paulo Sousa has admitted that a loan move for Kamil Zayatte has hit a stumbling block. The Hull City defender has been told he can leave the KC Stadium after a string of poor performances during the opening month of the season and has been in talks with the Foxes for the last 10 days. The Mail understands he underwent a medical with Leicester last Thursday and Sousa had been hopeful of adding Zayatte to his ranks in time to face Cardiff this evening. That now appears unlikely but Sousa remains confident that a deal can be struck. "We haven't signed Kamil yet," said Sousa. "There are some small issues that need to be settled and hopefully we can do it this week. I think they are personal things, and they need to be kept in house. We will tell when the deal is done. I do not expect him to feature against Cardiff." A move out of the KC Stadium for Zayatte would allow City to strike a long-term loan deal with Liverpool for defender Daniel Ayala. The 19-year-old's current temporary deal is due to expire after Coventry's visit on October 2 but City are keen to see him stay until the new year.
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Hopefully Morrison and Hobbs have a blinder tonight and it makes Sousa re-think this deal. I get the feeling, Zayette will be commanding a wedge to come here and he's probably not worth it.
dpjfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 if he has signed he will be in tonights squad then we can change thread to "confirmed signing"
hackneyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Author Posted 14 September 2010 Hope drugs not involved...... They probably are, that'd be why a 'Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon' is involved. Why would you immediately jump to the conclusion that drugs are involved?
dpjfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 apparantly hes in the squad tonight... must have signed!
Fox You Forest Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 They probably are, that'd be why a 'Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon' is involved. Why would you immediately jump to the conclusion that drugs are involved? Because his subconscious is trying to remind him he hasn't taken his own.
Tommy G Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 apparantly hes in the squad tonight... must have signed! Where have you got that from then?

MPH Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Leicester have pulled the plug on a proposed £750,000 deal for Hull City centre-half Kamil Zayatte after problems with the Guinea international's medical.Full story: Daily Mirror http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm
Outfox the Fox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm It was the Mirror journo who told me on Sunday about the failed medical. The visit to the Surgeon on Monday, must have confirmed his 'dodginess'. I'm pleased - it was a gamble (the Tigers fans didn't rate him) - and Morrison & Hobbs are doing great.
MrSpaM Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Being reported in the LM today that the deal is definatly OFF, due to personal reasons apparently
Bellend Sebastian Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Being reported in the LM today that the deal is definatly OFF, due to personal reasons apparently They met him and decided he's a cock?
surrifox Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 not sure why but I'm quite happy to see this deal fail- seems like the majority of posters are as well. Hull are more than a bit screwed as a result so good news all round

MPH Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 in all seriousness, i wonder if we pulled out of it, claimed medical reasons to save face and have our mind set on other options.... wether those other options are the return of vitor, or the Tunch being near to full fitness, or a mixture of both only time will tell.... but i doubt it will be another outside target...
